Great tool for maintaing hair style between cuts. I wear my hair in a bob that is longer in front and shorter in the back. This often results in the back of my neck needing to be tidied up long before I actually need a full cut. I find it hard to reach this area and was afraid I might cut myself with a razor. My hairdresser recommend this tool. Although it is not as close and accurate for this purpose as a razor, it allows me to do this myself and keeps my cut looking fresher for much longer. It takes up very little space and is easy to maintain. It cuts way better then a cheaper version I mistakenly purchased at the beauty supply store. I have not used it for any of the other hair styling purposes that it can be used for so can not talk about those features. But for the cost of about one haircut I can extend the time between cuts for a very long time. Cost effective and I look better in between!

The razor is a good tool for trimming hair, but the doing your own hair is very tricky and takes a lot of practice. Until you perfect your skill, you could cut more than you intended and have some uneven looking hair. Good for trimming the neckline on men.
