This little unit definitely surprised me. From the very first shave this thing is just super simple to navigate and trim with.
The blade head can pivot in all directions to ensure constant contact with your skin. This adjusting head also makes it extremely comfortable and easy to use.
There are also dual cutters, so both directions can trim and shape up compared to a traditional blade or trimmer, which again, makes it super easy to just navigate an area without much thought. Just point and cut.
I also really appreciate the fact that it’s 100% waterproof, so cleaning can be done in a quick rinse vs grabbing a little brush to try and whisk it all away before putting it back in the case, which is an extremely solid and well put together. It has a nice button mechanism to open and the case is a hard shell.
Lastly there is an integrated display for battery life, which is a nice touch.
Now the ONLY thing I wish was a little different is the charger. You get a USB- A cable with no brick and despite being a Philips Norelco product, it doesn’t work with either of my other 3 Norelco charging cables, so I had to find a usb brick laying around.
The good news is the battery lasts a long time, so I won’t need to have another charger hanging out of the wall all that often.

This Norelco OneBlade 360 shaver comes well packaged in a nice box and includes a hard carry case for the razor. It is a little ambiguous as to what you are supposed to put in this case, as the shaver includes two “OneBlades” with static guards and one adjustable guard that fits over a naked OneBlade. The case does not seem to fit the extra OneBlade and it seems they include a little cardboard box for this purpose. It has a proprietary charge plug on the bottom intended for a dock that is not included or connection to a USB charge brick (also not included) via the included charge cable. I have only used it once so far to trim my neck below my beard and the shave is extremely close with the lowest setting on the adjustable guard. Much closer than my current beard trimmer with no guard; about as close as a standard electric shaver would be if close cutting. I have not tried the static guards yet but the adjustable one is easy to put on and remove and has a special place for it in the carry case. Overall this seems like a really nice product and I’m hoping it replaces my old trimmer.

I honestly don’t care how nice the shaver is or the fact there is no room in the case for the extra blade. The reason this gets one star is because of the proprietary USB-A charging cable and not including a charge block. I can’t think of a single device I have bought in the last 8 years that uses USB-A. Fact of the matter is I don’t own a USB-A wall charger. The only thing I have left in my house that even has a USB-A port is an old desktop. Talk about a waste of energy, turn on my pc to charge a shaver…..I can not support or recommend this product due to Phillips Norelco cheeping out and not including a reliable means of charging the shaver. Seriously, it should be illegal for companies to sell this type of garbage.
