I really like the design and compactness of this product. However, this stopped working for me after only a couple months and the sterilizer light no longer lights up… Aside from this, I believe there are 2 other main issues making me hesitant to recommend:
1. The charger is very old and not USB-C… It uses a standard micro usb cable and it sucks because I only have the one cable it came with… my previous sterilizer was half the price and charges USB-C making it easier to find a charger for it.
2. I really wish they put a vent on the bottom of this to allow the bacteria to not get trapped once sterilized. Again, my old toothbrush sterilizer had this and I thought it was such a great feature at half the price…
All in all, if styling is what you want, get this. If you care about up-to-date useful features, get a different one. I forgot the brand of my previous one was but it’s the same one as the one sold by monesao (I think there’s a tone of different brands selling it though)…
UPDATE: I reached out to Bril regarding this and they happily sent a replacement. Updating to 4 stars because of how great customer service was but still leaving 1 star for the concerns outlined above.

It’s a small toothbrush holder, suitable for traveling. Part of the interior is mirrored, for a reason. When you put the toothbrush into this holder, closing it will energize a small UV light that will sterilize your toothbrush, the mirror helps the UV get into the nooks and crannies of the toothbrush. Simple. Fairly cheap. Quite brilliant. Highly recommended.

My family and I travel a lot, I make sure we all have one of these on our toothbrushes whenever we go anywhere. Once you find the little slot to recharge them, you are good to go. These stay charged for ages and even come with a replacement battery, which I have never had to use. I like knowing my brush is protected from swirling germs in hotel bathrooms and that it is also protecting me from unknown water risks. I can’t recommend these little gadgets enough.

I originally purchased this November 2022 for my husband and I. Due to health issues, my body gets easily inflamed from bacteria, including my gums. Despite proper brushing and flossing, my gums can become swollen easily from bacterial infection. Since I started using this toothbrush sanitizer, the gum inflammation has been kept at bay, which is wonderful! It definitely does its purpose. I find it valuable for that part.
However… the concern is that the battery life/charge is not very good. For the price, didn’t expect it to only last 11 months. I started noticing some issues about 6 months in, when my sanitizer was not really holding charge well. I had to charge it more frequently than my husband’s. This did not make sense since we tend to have the same brushing schedule. We started off charging the sanitizers at the same time, but as more time passed, I needed to charge mine more often. After a three week trip and one final charge, my sanitizer has officially died. It doesn’t really hold a charge, and the UV light no longer turns on. My gums are currently inflamed again.
I really liked it while it lasted, but it’s a shame it didn’t last at least two years for a rechargeable device. Currently debating if I want to repurchase or try a different brand…

I like everything about this – it’s small, so just right for my toothbrush head, and it’s nice to think that it keeps the bristles nice and clean.

This is my third one. They last about a year. Great for traveling. Easy to charge and will work for about a week between charges. Highly recommend for those who travel. I also use it at home.

I love this thing. It fits perfectly over my toothbrush and I love knowing it sanitizes. The battery life is great on it, I have to charge it only about once a month. Seems very high quality and easy to use. I might buy one for every family member!

Hab ein Stabilisator für mein Mann zu Weihnachten geschenkt. Fand das Produkt aber so toll, dass ich mir selbst einen nach gekauft habe. Einfach zu bedienen einfach aufzuladen und funktioniert einwandfrei. Auch auf Reisen wieder immer mitgenommen.

Bought this thing near the end of Oct, 2023. It worked, or at least appeared to work, until two days ago when it quit randomly. I am guessing it’s battery gave out or the UV LEDs burnt out. Also, was never really sure if they actually were UV but that’s just my own skepticism. Rated it 4 stars because for the price I bought it at, I would have thought it would last longer than a year. I don’t want this to have to be another yearly purchase. Besides that, it is easy to use, stays on pretty tight to the brush, compact and travels well, and battery lasts a good while between charges.

I was apprehensive if these UV-based toothbrush cleaners can hold a charge or not. I have been very happy with this Bril product. With moderate usage it holds a charge for weeks. The recharge is relatively quick too. Great size and travels easy. Never had issues with TSA in carry on.

Have the sticker/magnetic buttons on my bathroom wall. Makes it easy to access. After using toothbrush, just pop it back in, close the door, and the UV light comes on. No problems with it so far, recharging is easy.
