Product is small and compact. You need to download an app in order to create the stencil you want to use. My only issue is that the app is not exclusive for just this machine. The app can be use for other products from this company.

This is a handy little device, with a few drawbacks.

    Pros :
    Easy to connect
Charges fast & can be used cordlessly / wirelessly
    Feels solid
Print quality is pretty good if you can figure it out

    Cons :
While this WILL hook up to your Mac, it will only pull images from your iCloud. There seems to be no way to get images from your computer to your printer, which is weird.
Instructions with the device are basically nonexistent and/or hard to understand; look up some tutorials! it’s not straightforward.

Overall, as someone who’s just experimenting with these things, this feels pretty good. Like others have said, there’s a real learning curve here, but once you get there, it’s smooth sailing. I have not tried this directly from my phone because honestly, that’s not how I’ll use it. I need to get images from my computer, where I edit them, to this device… but it ain’t happening without extra steps. For now though… good enough.

There is a bit of a learning curve with this product and its app but it’s pretty straightforward after you get some practice. It came with 5 sheets of tattoo transfer paper but they were folded around the printer so it was bent and I think may have contributed to the quality of the printing in the end.

However! The printer is actually pretty nice and had nice packaging. It’s fairly small so it’s travel friendly but that also means it’s not all that powerful. Even so, it works fairly well. It came with a slight charge and I used it straight out the box (though the manual suggested charging it before use so this could have been why the printer seemed a bit weak). The app was pretty easy to navigate even if a bit UI-heavy. The measurements were confusing when uploading the image, even with the choice of using inches or mm but it seems if you go by the size of the paper and you give the image some margin for bleed, you’ll be fine. It took about 30 seconds to print and didn’t even drop it even without there being a paper shelf. The final product was a bit splotchy here and there but honestly not a huge deal. I’m sure with a better charge and a couple more test prints, it would’ve been near perfect. I did test it a second time with a larger image and the second image wasn’t nearly as splotchy (even with the same amount of charge) although the image was coming off the end (didn’t give enough space for bleed).

Overall I would recommend this for a slightly cheaper option that’s also travel size.

Edit: after reviewing the item page, it looks like I was supposed to take off both the protective paper AND the yellow paper, whoops! But it did work well even with the yellow paper on so honestly that’s a good sign of quality. Though I wonder why these instructions weren’t in the manual!!!!

I’m currently learning to tattoo and of course when I got a chance to try one of these I jumped on it. The work it could save, the possibilities. So I ordered one. The packaging is actually kind of cool honestly. It’s a really bright blue and looks pretty nice. The printer itself is secured well and comes with the stencil paper, charging cord, a Mac port adapter and of course the printer itself. I was immediately struck with its weight. It has heft to it, it’s not heavy by any means but it feels “substantial” if that makes sense. It doesn’t feel brittle or delicate. Now… connecting it turned into a bit of a trial and error situation haha. I will say right out of the gate, I do have it working with both my cell and my computer so I don’t want to give bad vibes but it did take some fooling around to get there. My initial issue was just with charging it before first use. There is one green light on the printer that gives you various “states” of the printer like error or out of paper which is great but the issue is that it’s all handled with different speeds of flashing the same green light so you may think it’s in an error state when really it’s charging which is what happened to me BUT I plugged it up and just let it be for a bit and had faith and sure enough it did charge. Another thing I had to learn was it seems to want paper in it to do anything besides say it’s in an out of paper state so you kind of have to load the paper to really do anything (I had to to even install the drivers on my pc) BUT once I got that stuff figured out I got it connected to my pc and my phone and all was well. And as my photos show I tinkered with the settings on my cell and those didn’t come out super but they were usable however the ones I printed from my pc are incredible. It’s hard to catch on a pic but those stencils came out really great. Another thing to know is to make sure you remove the layer of paper on top of the ink layer on your stencil paper and load it in ink side down. Granted it did take some fiddling to get it working but once I got it working it did incredible so I’m more than happy with this product. This is going to be really fun to play with and explore. I can only do four stars but honestly this is more of a 4.5 kind of product and a great price.

The printer prints well, it has good definition and offers good resolution and quality prints. the problem I found it could be minimal for some but you also have to remove the yellow paper on the stencils, the step takes a lot of time as I have a lot of different stencil brands and not all are the same some you just pull on anthers I have to cut but the fact of just inserting the transfer and hectographic paper sometimes is really difficult as the paper is very thin has to be perfectly aligned.
