an esthetician recommended this product to me to reduce hormonal dark spots on my face, specifically on my jaw and upper lip. I apply a light layer to my entire face every morning after the shower, followed by SPF45. it only took a couple months to start seeing results. after a year of daily use I can’t believe the difference in my skin. I thought I was doomed to have these dark spots forever. I’m really impressed by how well it works, and without any negative side effects. It’s very light for my oily skin, too.

I have purchased this product from a salon & this vendor. This time it was absolutely AWFUL! The smell was horrible, off my face immediately, very concerning of what I was truly putting on my face. The color was clear/white versus yellow like it’s supposed to be. Love cosmedix products just not from this vendor.

I originally purchased this serum from a local Spa, months ago, who sells several Cosmedix products. And I really enjoyed this serum, as I could see a difference in my skin tone almost immediately. Just recently, I ran out of the serum and needed to purchase some more, but due to my busy schedule, I thought I would order it from Amazon instead.
Now, I was hesitant to order it, per reading the reviews and seeing a review that is similar to the issue I have with this purchase (about the quality and appearance not being the same). So for that reason I really only have myself to blame, for taking that risk and ordering it from Amazon anyway. However, hopefully this review will help others before spending the same amount of money, for less quality of the product.
This serum is not the same color (it is more of a very light orange/tan color), versus the same exact serum that I purchased at a true spa, months ago, which had a much darker orange color to it. I also don’t feel it’s as effective with the skin brightening, etc…as the bottle was that I purchased at the wellness spa. It’s almost as though this serum has been tainted with or watered down, compared to when you buy it at an actual beauty store or wellness spa. Either that, or it has possibly aged and is therefor not the same quality (as I have heard from multiple big named stores, that Amazon makes their money from buying older products from these companies, for less, and then selling it for the same price as when purchased more freshly at the stores).
I would personally recommend buying this product from the actual company directly, your local spa, or your local beauty store. As the product, in the right condition, is great! But the quality is not the same when buying it from Amazon! And I hate to say that because I buy from Amazon ALL THE TIME and rarely have issues. But this is just one case where I feel the quality of the item is not living up to the cost, compared to the quality you get when you purchase it from a spa or its actual source.
