The blades are not designed like Philips or Braun – I never had so much cuts with a shaver before. It pulls the skin and cuts. Also it broke after a month (only used a couple of times): The power on button got stuck, making it work without a way to stop. Total nightmare, avoid.

Reviewing from my wife’s account – Had a bit of an issue with this device. I believe it was a slight defect that rendered the device useless. Upon contacting customer support they fine folks at Amazon and Mangroomer got my sorted very quickly.
The trimmer is well worth the money. In the couple times I got to use it I was pretty happy with the end result. I’d definitely buy this again and am considering buying other related products from these guys. Absolutely top notch support!

This is an excellent body groomer. The shaver head is flexible and cuts nice and close, while the trimmer head works well and has 8 settings for guard. I use the timer on my beard without any issues. The trimmer without the guard can be used but only with great care – it will shred your skin if you have the angle wrong and is deadly on rounded parts with soft skin (I use the shaver end on those bits).
My only issue is the placement of the power buttons. It is easy to turn it off accidentally during use, or even press the button for the other end which cancels out the end you’re using. After a while, you just figure out how to hold it so this happens less often.

Haven’t used it a lot but i ll update review about battery life later on . So far 30 mins no problem.

Product material is steong and good.Blades are working perfectly for a smooth finish. Handling is easy and looks amazingly fashionable.
Happy to recommend it to anyone who has been struggling to find a good body groomer for a decent price.

The positive reviews here had me convinced, until I used the damn thing. First off, the design is extremely awkward and not ergonomic at all – I ended up hitting the on/off switch multiple times while using it.
I started with the single blade end with the guard on – nothing. I then tried with the guard off and that worked fine, until I got to some sensitive areas where I immediately got a skin reaction. I figured I’d try the double blade for a close shave, and that was worse – it kept chewing up my skin.
I’m sure there’s some “perfect” angle where this works like a charm, but I haven’t found it yet. Going back to the trusty Philips.

So, the previous generation of this trimmer lasted me for a long time (4 years) and proved to be a worthy tool.
I used it very heavily to stay groomed and it never failed, until the last few weeks!
This newly designed Trimmer/Groomer carries over the Lithium Max Battery tech that I have come to expect from ManGroomer.
This newly redesigned model is a bit more substantial in one’s hand and the buttons for each trimmer end feel more refined, more premium.
The adjustable end of the trimmer has plenty of range for really all types of hair lengths you’d have on your body.
I find the other end with it’s close-cuttimg foil is great for edging sideburns however, it is 99% of the time used to keep my chest and stomach hair whacked down. And it does a great job giving a nice finish that is electric razor smooth, which is different than regular razor smooth (which is usually irritating for me for the first day or so, serious groomers will know what I mean), which is great for speedy trimmings with a great smooth feeling aftwards, without the “tickly” annoyance I get with a regular razor.
I’d say this is 10 to 15% larger but it is also more robust. It feels hearty in your hand and makes you feel confident you’re not going to drop it.
I have used this (mostly) dry but I have had it in the shower and have had no issues.
I really appreciated the extra foil they sent with this unit but even more cool was the quaint little bottle of clipper oil that it came with too (and little blade brush… keep it clear of excess hairs and lubed and it’ll never let you down)!
This is the main reason I attribute to my previous model lasting so long, WD-40 works wonders to keep things humming along.
I very much enjoyed the little touches with this set.
I have to say, I am a tad partial to the upright charging stand of the previous model (like a skyscraper, more up than out makes for more compact storage, but it still doesn’t clutter my “man tools area” much more than before, still nice, even if it takes a little getting used to.
Tha battery life is splendid. It said it needed to initially charge for 18 to 24 hours (or however long it took for the charge light to go from red to green) but I didn’t have it charging for more than an hour before the unit went Green Light Go!
My trimming (if I get behind – no pun intended) may take 20 to 30 minutes, so the claimed hour long or more run time has been plenty for me, and most likely will be for you too.
Bottom line: these ManGroomer Lithium Max Plus Groomer/Trimmers have served me well for years, it has lasted longer than the lauded Philips Norelco rechargeable trimmer I had, and really with the redesign and ergonomic changes and the little things like a spare foil blade and trimmer oil, you can’t go wrong with this product!!!!

Fellas, do yourself a favor and get this MANGROOMER! your family jewels will thank you. I have used several trimmers and spent countless hours taking care of my “manhood”. Not only that, the focus, concentration and the “surgeon” like steady hand it takes when you put a trimmer to that area. I have been shopping, reviewing, comparing; I have done my research and decided to go with the MANGROOMER LITHIUM PLUS over the Philips Norelco and let me tell you how AWESOME it is. I LOVE everything about it: ergonomic design, battery life and how easy it was to use this around the family jewels. Hygiene is a must in my book and the MANGROOMER has saved me a lot of time, but more importantly, it gets the job done and has the jewels looking so fresh so clean and if you are looking for a one-two punch…get the MANGROOMER LITHIUM PLUS!!!

I purchased this device because there was a good review from another woman and I had been looking for a while for something I felt confident with. After all, you don’t want to screw up your junk! So yes, I’m a woman and I use this device all the time. I haven’t had any issues with it other than at the beginning you need to get used to not pushing the opposite button. I never got cut and it doesn’t pull hair like some other reviews stated, just read the instructions for all of their tips.
I purchased it in May and in late June it stopped working and would over heat when put on the charger. I contacted customer service and within 2 hours I had confirmation they would be sending me a new device! Now that is great customer service!!!!

The trimmer feels solid, it has a weight to it so it does not feel or look cheap/flimsy. The fact that it has two different trimming ends makes it very versatile. It can handle any area of the body if needed.
ALSO: the company’s customer support is AWESOME. I purchased my mangroomer a little over a year ago and one Saturday morning I saw that my trusty Mangroomer was not charged. The charge indicator light was glowing orange, not a good color – should be either red or green. I sent an email to the email address listed on the “Customer Care” page of Mangroomer.com and explained the situation. Because it was a Saturday I figured I wouldn’t hear from the company until Monday. BUT they replied that same day, on a Saturday! They rectified the situation and I can say I am a happy customer.
