For those of us people that tend to require deodorant that REALLY works…I REALLY tested this one out today.
I’m a paramedic. I had a hypothermic unconscious patient that had been outside for at LEAST 24 hours. I had to make it SURFACE OF THE SUN HOT in the back of the ambulance. I mean like swamp ass hot. Not even one little trace of under arm stink. NOT ONE SINGLE drop of sweat in the pits. I was COVERED in sweat pretty much everywhere else. Dripping down my back, my face, my crack, pooled up in my gloves. It legit had to be like 95 in the back of my ambulance. My pits were as dry as the Arizona desert.
Trust me when I tell you, I’ve probably tried and trashed literally 50 or so deodorants so far in my life.
This one is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. PLEASE. DO. NOT. STOP. MAKING. THIS. DOVE.

Love the smell as much as everyone else loves smelling me haha! Smells just like the shower gell and shampoo, makes for a nice overall smell of all of that is used. I have sensitive skin and this stuff doesn’t bother me at all. Definitely worth buying more than just one stick!

Works great if you have sensitive skin. A lot of other deodorants were causing irritation for me. Scent is pretty subtle. The anti-perspirant does seem to wear off, but the deodorant part still works all day long. At least you don’t stink but you may sweat a little bit

I used this deodorant all the time until I found out directly from Dove that it has been discontinued. Whoever is selling this here on Amazon is price gouging for that very reason. Either lower the price or stop selling. Stop robbing people. $62 for something that use to it be $20 is insane.

I purchased several of these and while you can’t scratch and sniff on Amazon (yet) the scent is clean without being crisp, fresh without being overpowering. It’s really hard to describe but it’s not clean like “linen” or “cotton.” It’s not crisp like a cutting scent and it’s not at all overpowering like some of the horrible scents that antiperspirants yield.
Im not paid to write this – I love the charcoal scent a TON and hate using it only because I’m worried it’ll not be produced again. Store stocks don’t seem to carry it. There are other brands like Axe & what, Brut? They’re just too overpowering. Some brands have a wood scent like Sandalwood but typically they don’t make them in antiperspirant. My likes are Arrid XX Regular and the Axe chocolatey scent but there are days that I don’t like that one. With Dove, it’s a 100% Love for it being unobtrusive and balanced and not all sweet or overwhelmingly aggressive.
