I am so impressed with my custom made Cheeky mouth guard. My dentist told several years ago that I needed a mouth guard to wear at night because my teeth were showing some damage from grinding. I put off getting one partly because of the cost, all most $1000, and the fact that my Mom never used hers because it was uncomfortable.
Recently, I started noticing my front bottom teeth were hurting in the morning and it was uncomfortable to take a bite of toast. I had noticed some Cheeky ads online and decided to look into the product.
For just $100, I received a custom mouth guard for my top teeth. It was easy to do the impressions and the mouth guard fits perfectly. It is comfortable to sleep with and my teeth feel better than they have in awhile. I will definitely be ordering another as time goes on.

I received the first kit only to find that the included mouth trays were too small but that I could reach out to Cheeky customer service and get larger ones sent to me. Two weeks later I received a new kit. These trays were likely too small as well but I did the impressions, filled out their order form and sent it all back to them. Several weeks later I hadn’t received any communication from them. I reached back out to the same customer service rep and they said they never received my impressions but that they would have another kit sent to me. A week later I received the THIRD kit. The kit didn’t include a return label so how am I supposed to send the impressions back?!?!? Now it’s too late by their Amazon return policy to get a refund. Well… I may have an impression kit from them, I’m not very impressed…. I guess I’ll cut my losses and go with another company.

I was really hopeful when I first ordered this product. I received my kit fairly quick and was impressed by the quality of everything that it came with. I was able to figure out the moulds easily and sent it off. After a few weeks I hadn’t yet gotten my gaurds back so I reached out to customer service. They were quick to reply and sent me a replacement kit. It was still missing a preference card and an extra putty, so I had to reach out again. I received quick responses each time and they rushed me what I needed. I am only on my second night with my gaurds but I noticed such a difference just in one night. They are really comfortable, good quality and customer service was top notch for me. I suffer from regular headaches and jaw pain from bruxism. Happy to finally get some relief. Definitely worth the money.

Update on my night guard. You can get different thickness on these. I choose the lightest one and let me say, it is the most comfortable thing I have ever encountered. My old one made my upper lip protrude as on a monkey’s lip and lately my front teeth hurt in the morning for quite a while. Cheeky’s guard went in as a second skin, perfect, no getting use to, no pain and it looks as if I’m not wearing anything. Love it!

I received my upper and lower night guard but the upper one does not fit. I was under the impression that if I had a problem they would take care of but I can’t find away to get in touch with cheeky. Maybe someone else has had the same problem. The bottom guard fits great am I love them so I can definitely see how it will help the clinching or grinding.

This kit has been great for me as I am notorious for grinding my teeth when I sleep. My dentist suggested I invest in a custom mouth to protect my teeth at night. This kit is so easy – it was simple to create a perfect fitting right at home! Doing this at home by myself saved me a ton of money. The instructions were straightforward and the whole process took just a few minutes. I like that I can wear it comfortably, I can sleep with it and forget that I’m even wearing it. It is lightweight, not big and bulky and most importantly it is effective. The materials used are high quality and has proven to be strong enough to withstand the constant grinding. I no longer wake up with a sore jaw or headache.

Initially, I was skeptical about making my own mouth guard but the price difference between this and the one from my dentist made me consider it. The process was much easier than I expected and the instructional video simplified that. I followed every step and went with the upper and lower molds. I was impressed by how well they were made and the turnaround time of receiving the final product. They don’t feel too extra in my mouth and are comfortable to wear the entire night. I sometimes wear both and sometimes only one and after 2 weeks of so of using them I did notice a pain relief that I was experiencing daily due to grinding. This was a good alternative that saved me a good amount of money
