    I received my new clean and charge base today and it was obvious that Braun made some updates to the product: 1. The drying fan is a lot quieter than I ever remembered. 2. They finally got smart and made the top a matte finish which is very easy to clean. the previous “piano black” that they used on every other model I have owned looked very nice, however no matter how soft your cloth is, it will show fine scratches after the first wipe. This is much better!

    Without a charging… you can still use the original one on the shaver. But without cleaning liquid, I don’t know how to use it. At least you need one. If you want to use it, you must buy cleaning liquid separately. . .
