  1. Honest Professional Reviews

This made-in-the-USA professional-grade trimmer stands out from cheaper alternatives, with a few drawbacks that led me to downgrade it a 4-star rating.

Before first use, charge it for two hours until the green light turns off to avoid battery damage. It offers about an hour of use per two-hour charge and can operate while plugged in, though it won’t charge during use. Since there’s no battery percentage indicator, it’s wise to put it back on the charger after each session, which won’t harm the battery.

It does not have a USB charging port but it features a standard 2V 500mAh barrel jack for charging and comes with its own charger. The lightweight charging dock is usable, as long as you don’t push the trimmer too deep into it, otherwise you need two hands to pick up the trimmer.

Unlike many modern trimmers, this one isn’t waterproof. The manual warns against using it near water to prevent electrical shock and damage, for which the manufacturer won’t take responsibility: “CAUTION: Never handle your Andis trimmer while you are operating a water faucet, and never hold your clipper under a water faucet or in water. There is danger of electrical shock and damage to your clipper. Andis Company will not be responsible in case of injury due to this carelessness.”

It arrives well-oiled, including a small tube of trimmer oil, with recommendations to oil the blades before, during, and after use. Cleaning involves immersing the blades in a shallow pan of Andis oil.

The sleek metal design (it is actually just plastic) is comfortable to hold, and it trims reasonably close without causing nicks, although it’s not the quietest option available. I’ve used cheaper alternatives with less vibration.

It takes two screws to open it up and two other screws to adjust it to trim closer, I like the attention to detail to see the two top screws that hold the body together have a lock-tight kind of product added to prevent them to loosen.

It gives super satisfied performance but looks it is so simple. It will give full satisfaction on purchase and definitely I recommend to buy it in Amazon. It is ANDIS name brand it is T-blade trimmer close cutting. it will work unto two hours and with use of cord continuously and it gives professional performance. Comes with four easy in attachment combs and it is slim & lighweight profile is paired with famous wide GTX stainless-steel blade with deep tooth pattern which feeds hair faster and stays sharper longer.
So, definitely I recommend to buy this trimmer in Amazon.

Great little trimmer. It’s lighter than many others I’ve used in the past and that’s likely due to being made out of plastic instead of metal, but still feels solid in the hands.

It cuts crisp and close and also doesn’t make a bunch of noise.

I also appreciate the charging dock that it comes with. I can easily just drop it back in its dock and know it will be charged and ready the next time I take it out.

  4. Honest Professional Reviews

You’ll find a lot of T-Blade clippers on Amazon, mostly no name models at a fraction of the price of this one. And, honestly, having reviewed a lot of them, they most do a decent job.

So why would you pay more for this one? Aesthetic, ergonomics, and construction. The sleek chrome looks on this T-blade clipper crush the looks of most T-blade clippers I’ve seen. It also feels quite good in the hand–very stable, and “just right”. And it feels very substantial, very solid, and very well put together. It feels like it will last a long time.

It also functions very well, although I’d be hard pressed to say it cuts substantially better than models that are cheaper. But heft and stability may well help many to get a cleaner cut even though the cutting blade itself isn’t substantially better.

The gapping on this is close to 0, but not quite (see photos).

One additional advantage of this clipper is that it can operate on AC OR the integrated rechargable battery. This isn’t likely to be a big deal for home users, but if you use this as part of your work, it means that if the battery gets run down you don’t need to wait to recharge before you can use it again: Just plug it in and continue. Most cheaper T-blade clippers don’t work this way, and it’s a substantial advantage if you will be putting a lot of professional miles on this cutter.

    In the package:

    ** T-Blade clipper
    ** Four snap-on length guards
    ** AC adapter
** Optional charging stand (can be charged in stand or by directly connecting charging cable
    ** Cleaning brush
    ** Clipper oil

If you are on a tight budget and are looking for cheap, there are other options. But if you’re looking for top end, and especially if the ability to run on AC power if/when the battery needs charging is important to you, this is a great option.

Note that the charging stand is not weighted, so it isn’t a good option if it’s located where it might get knocked over. Also note that the clippers only charge using a non-standard chargeing port (no USB charging).

It also looks sleek. If you’re looking for a nice gift, this would be a good choice.

    Pros:
    ** AC or battery operation
** Sleek looks and good feel
    ** Good cutting operation
    ** AC adapter included
    ** Optional charging stand included
    ** Clipper oil included
** Suitable as a nice gift

    Cons:
** Significantly more expensive than some T-blade clippers
** USB-C charging not an option
    ** Charging stand light weight
