This is an AMAZING ear tool! I get small sores in my ear from constant cleaning. I have allergies that make my throat itch, so I do this weird thing to scratch my throat. But doing that tickles my ears. I know weird. So I carry q-tips on me at all times. This tool comes with a light that allows you took look even while in the dark. Also comes with soft tips to help get wax, buildup, bugs, or scabs from ears. And the camera quality is so much clear than the one I purchased long ago! My Son also loves this tool. He thinks it’s so cool to see the wax in his ear. And I also used it on my nephew to get a fly that got in his ear somehow. Which was super satisfying! Definitely should have one of these in every household!

I have had the R1 for about 2 years. I have loved the R1, but I wanted to upgrade.
I don’t know why but I judge a product a lot on how it shows up. If the company takes time with the packaging, the product is generally good. This had great packaging. Kind of reminded me of how an iPhone is packaged.
This review is going to basically be a comparison to my R1.
The Note 5 pro looks really nice to start out. I saw a lot of reviews that said because it was so light, it seemed cheap. It’s a lot lighter than the R1, but that’s because components get smaller and lighter with better technology.
I like that to turn it on, all you have to do is remove the cover. I can see how it could possibly get lose though.
The battery seemed to take about as long to charge as my R1. I did notice the battery lasted longer with the note 5 pro.
The camera is awesome! I can definitely see a difference between the quality and clarity of the note 5 to the R1. The led lights can be a little bright based on how you have it angled.
In my opinion, the design of the note 5 is much better! No more unscrewing the little “spoons” and replacing them. If the attachment wears out, you just slide another on. The attachments also weren’t as flimsy.
I really like that you can store the unit in the little case for the attachments. With the R1 it was always laying around somewhere and I almost lost it a couple of times.
I haven’t used the “tweezers” yet, but that was one of the reasons I wanted this model.
Overall, the note 5 pro is a definite upgrade to the R1! You just have to decide if you think it is going to be worth the money. It’s a lot more expensive than the R1. My whole family uses mine, so it was definitely worth it to up grade for me. I am just so happy that when I can’t hear because my ears are plugged, I can take care of it myself and never have to go to the doctors office again!

I have an older one from the same company but it was starting to have issues charging so I opted to get a fancier one this time. My old one is weighted and feels solid but this one is light and has a plastic feel to it. Even with all the extra attachments it’s not worth $100. Unfortunately I couldn’t even use it, it wouldn’t turn on or charge. I’ll be sending it back and getting something else.

This is very easy to set up and use. It turns on automatically when you take the cover off. As soon as you download the app you can use it. The picture is very clear. The tweezers are easy to maneuver, just by lightly squeezing your fingers. I would definitely recommend!
