This toothpaste does a great job whitening. It polishes away stains that are on the surface of my teeth. I use it morning and night and it contains fluoride. I enjoy the peppermint flavor which is definitely refreshing. I noticed whiter teeth in only a few days of consistently using this product.

Teeth whitening: so many options, how do you choose? Cost vs effectiveness. Thought I’d start with this low cost approach and work my way up as needed. But this really works well! Pleasantly surprised. I normally use Sensodyne Rapid Relief due to my sensitive gums and because other toothpastes cause the lining of my mouth to slough (sorry TMI—but in case you have similar situation)….this is FINE for my gums and no sloughing. The only downside is that it tastes a little weird—kinda bitter—definitely not minty. That’s because it contains peroxide. I can handle that, since it works so well.

I’ve used a huge assortment of whitening toothpastes for years and none work as well as this. I was horrified to see two days after a very recent dental cleaning that my teeth still had yellow stain near the base of the teeth. I chew nicotine gum constantly and drink coffee but I thought I’d give the Rembrandt a shot. In only a few days brushing twice a day, the yellow stain is virtually gone. WAY better than any other brand I’ve used for whitening!! The taste struck me as a little sweet but I got used to it after a couple of days. I’ll be reordering for sure!!

I had white teeth until my late twenties when they had gotten sort of gray for some reason. I had my teeth whitened in the 1980s using the Rembrandt in office method with excellent results. I can’t recall if I’ve been using Rembrandt D toothpaste that long, but I’m sure I’ve used it for 25 years. I don’t think that the reformulated version that’s been out for a few years is as good as the original version but it’s still the best whitening toothpaste that I can find. I’ve tried using other whitening toothpastes and my teeth start getting darker almost immediately. I’m a coffee drinker but that’s the only thing I do that would stain teeth. I floss and use this toothpaste and a whitening mouthwash twice daily and get my teeth cleaned twice a year. I do use whitening strips about once yearly. I’m older now so keeping my teeth white is a little more of a challenge. I’m just grateful that the Rembrandt toothpaste is still around.
