Plastic-Free Dermaplaning Tool, I like that this is a more sustainable tool to do this procedure at home. The kit includes the tool, a matching stand, a precision clip, and 10 refills. You can scan the box QR code to get how-to videos and tutorials. There is a learning curve to using this tool, I would recommend using it with a magnifying mirror for a precise application. I also found that using an oil made it harder for the blade to slide, so I prefer using the tool with dry clean skin. Blades are sharp so beware and don’t go over an area more than once to avoid cutting your skin. I am using the Leaf once a month and I love how soft my skin feels after using the tool.

Like that it allows me reduce plastic waste. Price is definitely worth it long term but there is a learning curve to using it. Haven’t been able to confidently use around brows just yet.

Pros:
-I’ve had several different types of facial razors over the years, and was shocked when I used this for the first time. Though I had used a cheap facial razor on my face not that long ago, a surprising amount of peach fuzz easily came right off with this razor! If you’re someone that prefers a bit less peach fuzz on your face, I say go ahead and invest in this or something similar. I doubt you’ll regret it!
-I am really impressed with the quality! I don’t think this much, but this really seems worth the cost. Feels weighty in the hand and it’s obvious that care went into choosing its’ materials.
-The size is a bit larger than the standard cheap facial razor. It feels nice in the hands when using it. With the included stand, which is also a nice weight, this would actually look cute in the bathroom or on a vanity.
-I really love how sustainable and eco-friendly this is. It may be more costly up front, but over time you’d probably spend more money replacing the cheap plastic or electronic razors. I also appreciate how accessible and affordable the replacement blades are.
-For getting in smaller areas, this comes with an adjustment blade guard that you can slide on the razors to adjust how much of the blade is exposed when in use.
Cons:
-With the blade being good quality, compared to cheap razors, I wouldn’t recommend this for extremely sensitive skin. I will also note that no matter your skin type, do not use this often as the skin on your face is thinner and more sensitive than other areas of skin and can breakout from irritation when used too often. (Speaking for facial razors in general)
Overall 4.9/5 High quality, sustainable, and gets the job done well.

I use in conjunction with the oil to shave my face at least once a week. My makeup goes on much easier now. The cheap drug store alternatives felt too rough on my skin. This is the opposite. It has heft and glides well. It takes skill though – it will definitely give you a few knicks during the learning curve. But the shave can’t be beat.

I love this product so much. I’m huge on saving and helping the earth and I used to buy so many of those plastic ones. Now I’m not. All I have to do is replace the blade every 3 uses but honestly I’ve switched after 5 uses. It looks clean and nice and feels good. I’m so happy for this product. I also enjoy the holder.
One thing I will maybe wish it had was a protector to go over the blade so in case of it falling it won’t cut anyone. But overall 9/10.
BEWARE!!!! It’s super sharp just make sure to practice and go slow 🙂
