Makes my Asian hair look naturally wavy. I use hairspray first then curl it and it stays for days. Takes much less time than I anticipated. But it is VERY hot so be careful.

With so many high reviews, I’m wondering if I just got a dud. To start, the box it came in was pretty mangled, but the product itself looked fine. The clamp does not go very tight so my hair kept slipping all over the place and when I tried with more hair, I had to hold it for far longer than I wanted to and the waves were not as defined. It did create waves and there is a bit of a learning curve in general with this style of iron, but the usability of this product was very poor. For $60 I had higher expectations of this product, but it would definitely be more worth it to spend an extra 20 bucks for something more salon quality.

The product is fine. Works well. No problems here.
The waves are super loose, so keep that in mind. They are not anything like highly-styled 1930s waves.
The hair looks somewhat similar to the one you’d use a hair crimper on (just much coarser waves).
I may end up using the waver more, it’s somewhat fun.
