You get a lot more for the amount of money as compared to the amount you would spend for smaller packages shae butter. However, it does include the nuts which I do not prefer.

Although the price was decent, I had no idea I would have seeds and parts of the shell included with my purchase. Just spend the extra dollar and refined shea butter. I’m not convinced it isn’t moldy also.

This is the first time I have given a one star review and I am truly hating every minute of it but really have to express my disappointment. The first time I ordered this Shea butter it was the highest quality I have ever used, buttery and creamy, actually took out an entire step of my manufacturing process because it was so easy to work with (I own a skincare products business). The second batch I ordered was grainy and inconsistent texture. I melted it down (even though I never usually use heat in my process) to try and temper the butter a bit with no improvement at all. I still tried to use it to make product because I could just not stomach wasting all that Shea and it turned out terrible. I ended up wasting a lot of time and other ingredients in the process. I wish I could have my money back for this batch. Huge blow to a small business owner. I will no longer be taking my chances with this company and will be ordering USDA certified organic only now 🙁

love it! nice and creamy. clean natural shea scent, not overpowering at all. so i purchased it again and again. but wanted to make it a staple on my website but could never get it off the ground…free is not free…i put a lot of work into that free website but was just unwilling to spend the money. so it sells on craigslist just fine.

I took a chance on the 25# option and I’m very happy I did! It was shipped to me from North Carolina (not Miami, as stated in product description) nbd; and arrived less than 72 hours after I placed the order. The packaging was fine since I’m in a cooler climate, but could DEFINITELY be an issue anywhere above 70°. It comes as a knotted bag, inside a “twisted” bag in a perfectly sized box. What I received was Ivory as described, accurate in weight, appears to be a consistent color throughout and appropriately scented. The only major red-flag thus far is the lack of any type of production/import/expiration date labeling, even though there’s dedicated space for it on the box.
