My husband’s razor cord that came with the razor wasn’t charging properly. He has had it a long time. I told him to find the one he wanted on Amazon and I would order it for him. So he did. He was happy to get it and it is working great.

The old plug wire was becoming frayed and I didn’t realize it affected the charge as well. I never got the strong charge I remembered in the beginning. I’ve had my shaver since 1992. In this day and age when technology becomes obsolete the minute you buy it, longevity is truly appreciated.

MY ORIGINAL POWER SUPPLY JUST CRUMBLED. THE WIRES JST SIMPLE FELL APART OVER TIME. THIS IS A FAR CHEAPER ALTERNATIVE TO REPLACING THE WHOLE SHAVER, WHICH IS WHAT I ALMOST DID. GLAD I WENT FOR THE CABLE INSTEAD.

It is probably a good adapter, but has a confusing description. This adapter is not compatible with my Norelco Philips Multigroom (Series 7000 trimmer). I returned this one and ordered a different adapter.
