Got this kit for my daughter’s birthday party. It was such a hit!! I was even able to do it to myself. Easy learning curve based on the “how to” video another reviewer created. As others have said, supply your own needle nose pliers. So fun and looks beautiful!

I gave this to my nieces (16 and 11) as a Christmas gift this year. They had to search the Internet to find instructions on how to put it in their hair using the tools that were provided. The tools that came with it worked well. It would’ve been helpful if a set of instructions had come with the product. The 2 girls also had some trouble separating individual strands of tinsel out from the package and then returning the unused strands to the package in a way that didn’t turn the unused ones into a giant, tangled mess. A lot of tinsel ended up stuck to the carpet and got wasted. Some other way of packaging the tinsel would help, like maybe draping it over a piece of cardboard, the same way Christmas tree tinsel is packaged.
It was kind of an entertaining and fun item though. There was a nice selection of colors.

this hair tinsel is really great for the price. my daughter bought this for her cousin and put it in a bunch of girls hair. it looked super cute and stayed for a couple weeks. it is tricky if its your first time and you need pliers to clamp it but great quality and comes with tons of colors!

Super cool fun little hair tinsel kit. My girls love it. And they last over a month. You can wash hair while in, swim with them in freshwater pool or saltwater. Great for parties too, all the little girls love them. Only wish there was an easier way to open the packages and store them.

My daughter was BEGGING for hair tinsel, and this set was budget-friendly and super easy to use. My daughter has curly hair, which I was worried about when inserting and removing, but it works perfectly. Looks super cute too!

This is a great starter pack of tinsel and tools. It does not come with pliers. I took my husband’s, but you can buy pliers specifically for hair beads. Once you get the hang of it, these are easy to use and install. I recommend using the hooped tool over the hook, as I think it’s easier.
I can keep these in for 4-6 weeks without issue. They don’t crinkle or start sticking out. They hold up to heat fairly well. I run my straight iron at 380°F and it doesn’t seem to hurt them.
For the money, these have a beautiful and sparkly appearance. When used with beads under the top of your hair, they are more subtle. The pack includes enough beads for multiple installs and enough tinsel for a lifetime. It’s definitely worth the money.

A bit hard to do on yourself but eventually got the hang of it. It usually lasts about 1-2 weeks and then it starts to get crinkled. Also cannot use with heat. Otherwise I think it’s great!

I got this so fast, i love all the different colors it came with but most importantly it didn’t come with pliers which was a bummer, but i love it it’s a must have, the colors are vibrant and great quality, & it comes with a lot of cool colors its must have
