This is definitely a quality upgrade from a few years ago when my old flat iron took seemingly forever to heat up. Perfect size for my thick wavy/frizzy hair. I liked how large the flat iron was. It does a great job. I use it on the lowest setting (I have very thin hair). The only thing that would make this better is if it came with a stand you could put it in.
