There’s no way to properly rate this for causing/not causing hair growth because these serums take months for results, and many other factors like vitamins and genes and diet impact hair growth as well. What I’ll focus on is the product itself and its ingredients.
For OTC hair growth serum, this has your typical 5% minoxidil. There are some other more expensive solutions out there that have 6% (the newest Hims spray) but I’ve read there is really no point in more than 5%. The applicator is typical as well, as it being a drop. Spray options are becoming more available these days but I personally feel drops would be more effective than a spray (though I’m not a professional, just my own observation) though sprays are of course a lot easier.
And I guess it needs to be said, expect a greasiness. That’s just what these products make it feel like.
I was very happy to see on the bottom of boxes, each bottle contained the Batch number, manufactured date, and expiration date. Since this is Amazon, it’s great to know the products you’re getting are not expired (I ordered these 07/2024 and the MFD was 05/2024 and EXP was 05/2027).
Overall, at its current price, I find this to be on par with all the other serums out there. As far as ones you can have delivered in just a few days (if that), again it was great to have the MFD and EXP on the boxes so you know you’re not getting old product.
I just want to throw in an additional comment here that again, your diet and your vitamins and your genes have a huge impact on hair growth. And of course the biggest contributor would probably be stress. So make sure you’re working on ALL of those things, in addition to using products like this, and hopefully things will start to improve for you.

I was looking forward to using a serum rather than mousse because I wanted something that would actually sit on the scalp rather than cling to the hair. This does do that, but it also sort of migrates (even with thorough massaging it in) and creates an oily forehead, back of ears etc. Unfortunately, I have been breaking out a lot since starting to use this (an issue I did not have with the mousse from a different brand). I do have very sensitive skin, so this may not be an issue for most people.

Since I started using this serum, my hair is getting thicker and growing in faster! I am impressed! It is easy to use and does not leave any buildup. It does make my hair greasy, so I only use it on hair-washing days.

I got this because of a thinning spot and it contains minoxidil and biotin which both are proven to help regrow and strengthen hair. Comes in a serum form,so it’s not oily at all also making it easy to apply directly to the scalp. The serum is easy to apply with a dropper. It absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a greasy residue. The smell is not overwhelming or strong at all.
There’s a slight tingling sensation upon application. I use it twice daily as recommended, noticeable changes can start to appear within 3 to 4 months of consistent use . I’m looking forward to seeing results in the coming months.

I’ve been using this for a good two weeks, and it actually works! My hair is nowhere close to where I want it, but it’s getting there. For reference, my hair was to the middle of my neck, and it’s now to my shoulders. I love this product for a few reasons:
First, the smell is very mild and quite pleasing. I’m sensitive to smells, so this is a pretty big plus for me. The consistency is very thin, bordering on the consistency of water, which makes application easier, although, if you’re doing a straight line application on side of head, or near your forehead, it does tend to run. I’ve started doing “dots” on my scalp and working down to my mid-lengths with almost no running. My ends are the worst, so I use my hands for them.
The only thing I do wish was different is the size; I wish this was bigger! Thankfully, it is a two pack. This product definitely does what it says, and I absolutely recommend.

Got this to help my hair thinning and it seems to be effective. I typically use minoxidil and this version seems to be as effective as my past versioned. My baby hairs are continuing to grow and my hair is still getting thicker and longer. Price was good at time of order, especially for two bottles. Would recommend and buy again
