The ridges (ruching?) are really effective at keeping it in place: I love that I can use tie it loosely in a little top bun at night, but it still stays in place so I don’t have to retie it as I’m changing sleeping positions. Since I only need to tie it loosely, I don’t wake up with a headache since it wasn’t pulling at my scalp all night long. I also use it during the day and loop it a little tighter and then it’s not going ANYWHERE. So far I just keep using the same one and it hasn’t stretched out at all, probably because I don’t have to constantly loop it many times to get it to stay, so there’s less strain on the elastic.

I don’t know what it is about finding hair ties in dark brown silk…is the silk worms go on strike for making dark brown?? These are the perfect color for the brunettes out there and they are good quality. I feel like the cost is comparable to the quality.
