After a bad fall, I had a “degloving” injury, where my forehead was cut all the way to the skull. Over 50 stitches, from the top of my forehead to below my eye. It was devastating. It may never fully disappear. But it has healed dramatically using Scarguard Professional Gold, until it is no longer red, no longer raised, and about 75
% less noticeable. When you first paint it on, it is applied like fingernail polish, and the smell is STRONG. But it does protect and heal the scar.
