Bought this for my trip to Mexico. I saw it when purchasing their sunscreen and man am I happy I did. I get fever blisters if I get a sunburn over or on my lips and this did prevent any issues. If you put too much on it does leave a light white color to your lips but overall that wasn’t a problem.

First of all I bought blue lizard because it’s considered the best mineral sunscreen and this sunscreen lip balm has to be hands down my favorite. It leaves your lips with a slight white tinge, but it applies softly and my lips actually feel better from use.

Blue Lizard is my go to sunscreen brand and this was my first time trying the lip balm. It’s moisturizing and protected me from sunburn or irritation, even when out on the canoe all day! I didn’t find it to leave a white cast and the smell was not strong.

I am an esthetician and have tried many balms. For an SPF balm, this one is good for men and kids but gals used to creamier or shinier versions of balms may not be so impressed. It seems to work well for sun blocking outdoors. It does leave a hint of a white cast but not all that noticeable and it is, afterall, waterproof and also broad spectrum so it won’t be cosmetically elegant like a balm without SPF. My teen uses them and we like the Blue Lizard lotion too.

LOVE!!!! These have been great all summer long!! This one pack lasted from May and are still going strong! For someone who is prone to fever blisters from the sun and sunburnt lips I am always looking for a good lip protection that I don’t have to reapply every 5 minutes, and these are IT! Blue Lizard products this summer were a hit in my household! And the ingredients are Clean! 10/10 recommend!

Overall a great moisturizing SPF lip balm that has a light natural coconut scent w/ no flavor. The only thing preventing me from giving this 5 stars is that it does give your lips a very slight white cast due to Zinc Oxide. The white cast is especially apparent if there is dry peely skin on the lips.
