Honestly I ordered this because the shipment of the brand I had been using got lost or stolen. Now I will stick with this brand! It’s a very moisturizing, luxurious, creamy body butter. I much prefer this (just one ingredient) to products with all sorts additives. You don’t need to add anything to this, simply scoop a little out and apply as you wish.

This butter is soft and creamy! Doesn’t matter your hair type, just about all hair conditioners contains some form of shea butter but Nilotica Shea is the best. You don’t need to place it over a double boiler to soften it!

I like the consistency of the shea butter. I was the first person to place the lotion on my arms and hands last night right after it was delivered. Then my skin started itching. Two of my children put the lotion on their skin after me and their skin started itching. I don’t know if we are allergic to some of the ingredients. Overall I will try the shea butter again tomorrow to see if I experience the same thing. However, I like how soft it makes my skin but I might have an allergy to the pureness of the shea butter.
I did use the shea butter again the next day. However, I added some olive oil to the portion I spooned out to use and my skin no longer itches. My children used Vaseline and the pure shea butter and it works for their skin. I love the product.

Pleasant & mild earthy smell to be expected from Shea nilotica. Goes on smooth and keeps my skin moisturized and glowing all day. I even feel my skin barrier is protected in the sun (although you should use sunscreen for sure uv protection). I recommend to use the shea right after a shower for max absorption. The color is a pale yellow.
