These clips are great! They’re lightweight but have a firm grip. They feel very secure. Also, although they’re plastic they feel solid. I have similar clips that are metal but after while they feel uncomfortable bc they feel heavy.

I have fine hair that is thinning. Most clips easily slip out. The two blacks clips are a matte finish and grip without any slip no matter if I have it styled low, top, or half up. The navy and brown tortoise are shiny which can slid if pulled but barely. These are sturdy and I doubt would break easily. I use them practically everyday. I recommend these and would buy them again. I hope you find the photos helpful.

Definitely not for thick or long hair. My hair is long (mid-back) and on the thinner side, the clip doesn’t hold a quarter of my bun. But overall it’s cute and has good stability for small amounts of hair.
