I don’t really understand the “bridesmaid proposal gift” thing. I guess it’s a thing? Weddings sound complicated! I’m starting to see why people get wedding planners! So what if they say no? You already gave them the gift? Do you give them the gift after they say yes? Ack! No wonder brides are so stressed out! So said, I’d like this gift if someone was to give it to me 🙂 Read on, BrideToBe!
Cards: These are on nice cardstock and don’t feel like cheap paper. It was easy to write on them with the included ball point pens. The backside is blank so you can write whatever sentimental prose that comes to mind 🙂
Boxes: The boxes fit everything in them (see photo). It was easy to make them. I folded the side tabs of the bottom to the center first, then folded the sides over those and tucked the tabs in the slits in the bottom. I then folded the lines on the top, brought the lid down and slid the tabs on the side into the slots made by the sides that folded over. They are very secure and look nice. The printing is sharp, By The Way 🙂
Pens: I love the big bling on the end! These ball point pens twist to open and close. The pens write really smoothly after about eight or ten letters. I really like writing with it. I think it might be a 0.7mm pen because of the way it feels when it writes. The ink is black (see photo).The metal on the pens is rose gold and the barrel has a bit of a shimmer to them. They’re really nice 🙂 I like these
Makeup Bags: Everything but the bottle and the box will fit in these 🙂 They are of average quality. They are made of some kind of cotton like material in a textured weave. It’s not as thick as canvas, but slightly thicker than muslin. There is no lining (see photo). The zippers open and close smoothly. The zippers are a very strong gold color and do not have a hole at the end of the zip to hang stuff off of. The fabric part of the zipper is white for all of them. The sewing is low-average. There are lots of loose threads (see closeup). They are flat and 9” long x 6-1/2” tall. It would be sweet to embroider your bridesmaids names on them 🙂
Scrunchies: These are made of textured satin. The sewing is low-average as there are some loose strings (see photo). They are 1-1/4” wide and about 4” long. They stretch easily to about 7-1/4”. The flat elastic inside is 1/4” wide and is on the stronger side (it’s not loose, it’s harder to pull). It fits around my 2-7/8” circumference ponytail three times. I can’t do four. It’d look prettier if I put my ponytail up with a hair tied and just looped the scrunchie around twice. It’s pretty flat looking when twisted three times around my ponytail. It holds well, though.
Sunglasses: These are cheesy looking but fun. It’d look pretty impressive if your whole bridesmaid posse was walking together with these on, right? The lenses don’t seem to have any distortions. They make everything grey tinted (not a gray brown or a gray green, really just gray).
Water Bottles: These are so smooth! I love the way they feel! The flowers are raised curved bumps and that’s neat looking, too. I hand washed them. The lid is tricky to wash because soapy water goes in the slider part but you can just keep the top part with the little white circle under the faucet until it runs clear and to get the water out after that you just turn it so the white circle is on the bottom and shake. I like that they included a straight metal straw and a straw brush. I used my bottle brush to clean the insides. I made ice tea in it and it keeps it cool. It’s been an hour and it’s still cold. It’s a “sippy” kind of lid, though. It’s hard to drink fast out of it unless you use the straw. It’s not watertight as the slider part leaks, but it’ll help keep spills minimal. I like it a lot even though sometime it splashes a fine mist tea on me when I slide it open (kind of strange but it’s not enough to make me sticky so it’s okay).
Much fun 🙂 Hopefully they will think fondly of the day you proposed to them when they use these things 🙂

Was initially nervous to purchase this as I was unsure about the quality of the items. The bottle is heavy and really good quality. The decal is not simply a vinyl sticker that will come off after washing. It also comes with a straw and straw cleaner. The pen is super cute and writes well. The scrunchie is a scrunchie. Not the best I’ve ever seen, but definitely not the worst. The makeup back is kinda thin but will definitely do for any little supplies needed for day of wedding. I doubt anyone would actually use it for their everyday makeup bag, but is plenty good enough for what it is. The box itself is elegant and almost a soft, buttery material. It was easy to assemble and fits all of the items perfectly. There is still little room to add additional small items to the box if you would like, but the included items fill it quite nicely. Overall I am extremely impressed and am so glad I purchased this. So excited to give it to my bridesmaid and see their reactions.
