Unfortunately for me this product didn’t work very well. Some spots were numb and others I could feel everything. I applied it exactly as the instructions said and even did a second coating in hopes of a better turn out the second time around. Customer service was very prompt with issuing my full refund-no hassle, no questions asked. For the price, it was a great value in size. I’ve used other brands in the past and only got half as much as I got with this seller. Although I don’t recommend the product, I DO recommend the value for the price and the speedy response and action I received when I contacted them about being unsatisfied.

This numbing cream works well. I shave and wash the area in warm water, pat dry with paper towel, then apply a thick layer(not rubbed in just cake it on), cover with saran wrap, and let it sit. For best results leave it on for 1.5-2 hours before tattooing starts and it lasted 5 hours of a half sleeve and 3 hours of a large back piece coverup with packed color. Reapply as needed during work. It works best for line work and light coloring. Packing color it works, but won’t last due to irritating the skin–enjoy it while it’s numb and hope they work efficiently. I bought this for my back piece due to scarring of the prior tattoo–I don’t typically use numbing cream, but wanted to make sure I sat still for my artist.

I’m working on a a full arm sleeve that’s almost completed, and I figured I’d try this out for the touchy spots. The area I was on for the numbing cream was my bicep/armpit/back of upper arm/inner and outer elbow area. It worked great for about 3 hours but it wore off quickly after that. Like… minutes quickly. Had another 4 hours left. Definitely impressed by the numbness but not the advertised time. Regardless, it’s overall a great buy!

I’m also curious if you can use this after the tattoo is done as a pain reliever, or should I wait? Let me know! TIA!

So I was scared sick of the pain of my most recent tattoo because it’s in a very sensitive spot on my wrist. This is the first time I’ve ever used numbing cream and I was getting scared with google telling me that numbing cream could make your skin spongy or mess up the color of the tattoo. My tattoo artist claimed my skin didn’t feel any different than usual.

I put A LOT on. I mean a LOT. Like it was solid white with no skin visible. I let it sit for 2 hours with plastic wrap then waited about 30 minutes to see my artist. At first, I couldn’t feel a thing. Literally nothing. Not even pressure. It was fantastic! And if you’re just getting lettering or something that doesn’t involve shading, I’d say you probably would have a painless tattoo. But mine had a lot of color and a lot of shading so after 5 passes, I started to feel it. At some point it felt like I didn’t have any cream at all.

But here’s the thing. It got me through about 45 minutes of painless tattooing and that’s enough for me. The tattoo lasted over an hour so I was thankful for what I got. The part of the advertisement that says it lasts 6 hours is true/not true. I’ve been done with my tattoo for a few hours now and this is the first time my skin has not felt like it was on fire and swollen. It’s really helping with the pain and is still very numb if I were to touch it. But if you’re getting shading done, you’ll feel pain during. But at the very start of the tattoo? Literally nothing. Every new patch of skin he started to work on didn’t feel a thing until he was going in with white ink or several passes for shading.

I used this product before going through a 7 hours tattoo session. Be sure to read the directions and follow them. From my understanding, the longer you let the cream sit, the more effective it is. I let it sit on my arm under wrap for about an hour. I lasted about 3-4 hours before it started to wear off. You will still notice you’re getting tattooed, but it isnt nearly as painful. When it wears off though, be ready. Idk if it was because I was still being tatted after it worn off for a few more hours, or it was just all the pain hitting me at once. If youre using this for a small tattoo and wont be sitting for 5+ hours like I did, this is perfect.

OMG 😱! I love tattoos but I am such a baby when it comes to getting it done. I bought this cream and let me tell you guys, it works…. I felt nothing at all. I had a big tattoo done too. I put it as the instructions stated an hour prior and wrapped it. Trust me, it’s worth every penny… 🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘😘

I used this cream 40 minutes before getting my tattoo, and I was surprised at how numb I was. I didn’t feel a thing for the first 2 hours, but when my tattoo artist started to go over the line work repeatedly, I could feel some pretty bad stabbing pains. Once he started on the shading, I was so relieved that I couldn’t feel it anymore. I imagine that had I left it on for longer, I’m kind of feeling like it would have made the line work more bearable. My treated area had numbness that lasted for the entire 6 hour process and a few hours after it was done. I’m super glad I picked this brand because I don’t think I could have made it through my sternum tattoo without it. I will definitely be using it on my next tattoo.

My daughter used this for her rib and ankle tattoos. She applied it 2 hours before and covered with cling wrap. Worked great…….she had no pain at all. Apply generously.
