These are not salon hair towels. These towels are super thin. These are the towels one would used to wipe down glass or the inside of your car. The picture made them appear much thicker. If I could return I would.

this towel is a little bigger than a hand towel. Barley holds on to your head without tying a hair tie in place. So much work should have just bought a full-size microfiber head towel instead

Theses towels are ok. They get soaked really fast. My hair is to my neck so if ypu have long hair you’d probably need 4 of them to dry your hair. It takes 2 to dry mine. I advise to wash them a few times before using. I washed mine once and when I use it and it’s soaked, I ring it out and the black bleeds.

So let me start off by saying that these towels are very nice and are as they are described. I am the one who goofed with the size even though I measured and tried to visualize it for my purposes. I wanted these to be hair turbans without having to buy the hair towels that are already shaped like a turban and have buttons on them and whatnot. I thought these would be way more versatile and I could use them for other things too like washing my face, instead of having a one use only hair towel. Well, I don’t know if my head is huge or something but I really have trouble using them as turbans. They are just too small for that, and I have shoulder length hair. Anyone with longer hair would not be able to use it in that capacity. I barely eke out the turban and I secure them with a claw to get it to work after my shower. I would not be wandering around the house expecting it to stay on though and the size just isn’t ideal to use them this way.
So my bad that I miscalculated how big the towels needed to be to wrap around my fat head. I will be looking for something bigger but like I said, these towels will be very useful for other things and I will continue to use them for those purposes. They are the right size as it states in the description (I measured) and the quality is nice. They really are priced fantastically for what you get too. I will be using them for lots of things, just not to wrap my hair up.
