I have a Wahl corded Color Pro and these fit perfectly. I have used them once to give myself a pixie. I used the guards that came with the Color Pro for the back and got a really nice fade. Used the 2 inch guard for the top. I have baby fine hair that runs from scissors, clippers, etc, so the two inch guard actually gave me about 2 or 2 1/2 inch cut. Just what I wanted. It took a few minutes to learn the technique but overall it was much quicker and easier to do the pixie with the guards than with guides, scissors, and a razorblade comb.

I have alopecia, and when my hair got so thin I couldn’t stand it anymore, I wanted to buzz it off – but was scared to go all the way to a 1 inch cut at first, so I found these extra-long guards and used the 2 inch one to ease my way into it. They worked, but I soon decided to just cut it really short since I’m wearing wigs all the time anyway, so I only used them a couple of times and then reverted to the shorter ones that come with the clippers. They were worth the cost, though, as I probably wouldn’t have gotten up the nerve to buzz it at all if I hadn’t been able to do it gradually.

Compared to the smaller guards that came with my Wahl trimmer, these rattled a lot and had a lot of flex in the plastic. It could be because these are so much bigger than the smaller guards that come with the trimmer, but I didn’t feel comfortable with the cheap feeling plastic, so I returned it.
