As you can see in the pics, I have rather curly hair. I love my hair and have not even thought about straightening it but I started seeing ads for the tymo brush. I thought if it could be that easy, maybe I’d check it out. I specifically searched for a dupe on Amazon and surely enough, I found this one and it’s exactly like the tymo and I purchased it at half the price.
So the pic with the blue shirt, it’s my natural curl. I detangle in the shower. Then run Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie with my fingers. Part or pull bangs. Then I use the praying method to smooth my hair with Eco Style olive oil gel. Air dry.
The straight hair pic is after 35 minutes of using the brush. All I did was take my dry curly hair and take it section by section with the brush. I did not brush or comb it out. Looks pretty good and I could have put more effort into it if I wanted to. I didn’t even use the hottest temp. It gets pretty darn hot. My only qualm is that it’s hard for me to get the root of the short hairs at the nape of my neck. I wore a cap at night and kept my hair straight with touch ups for the whole week before I washed it again.
The pic in the red shirt is following my usual curly hair routine after using the brush. It’s going to take a little time to get my full curls back. That’s the caveat to using heat to straighten like this.
Overall, I think this is the best straightener I’ve used to date. I love how unlike a flat iron, you are also detangling and flattening at the same time. Only reason why I gave it four stars is because I kept turning it off because the buttons are on the handle and it’s inevitable that you won’t press them inadvertently while manipulating the brush.

This lived up to my hopes. My hair is fine and color treated so I used it at 320 degrees. I straighten the first 6 inches from scalp them use curling iron for loose curls. Much easier to reach the back crown of my head than a flat iron. Took the frizz away! Faster than flat iron. Good buy and prime free shipping. 🙂

I absolutely LOVE this it works fantastic! Comb hair first and use small sections. It may take a little time but the results ate worth it!

I am not very good in blow drying my hair and I had a heat brush that I purchased in the past but did not work out as I thought. However, this product is amazing, easy to use and finally I was able to handle my hair in a simple way and keep it straight!

Unlike a flat iron where you can put a large piece between the plates, this has more a segmented plastic over the plate that separates the hair and straightens wonderfully. Problem is you have to do small pieces and it takes a lot longer but great with great results.
It heats up fast!!

I have straight, thin hair and have trouble with heat products being too hot and damaging my hair. I’m able to set the temperature on this very low and it does a great job smoothing any frizz and fly aways. It even works for curling my hair and the curl lasts all day. It heats up quickly and is very easy to use. It’s not heavy or heavier on one end. It works better than my Chi flat iron and I can do my entire head in less than 10 minutes. Definitely worth it.

I saw an ad for a product like this on instagram so came over to Amazon to order it. This isn’t the same one but it seems to work great. I used it this morning to get ready for work and my hair looks smooth steak and it was so fast. It also did not tangle or get stuck. This was a good value considering it had a coupon as well. I hope that it holds up and doesn’t break.
