This is an incredibly effective cleanser for my skin when I’ve applied multiple layers of makeup and sunscreen. But, depending upon skintype, it definitely needs to be followed with a second cleanser. I’d say that for any skin other than the driest? This oil cleanser needs to be followed with another cleanser.
As a note, my facial skin is combination, not prone to acne, and I initially used this cleanser during the summer.
I mentioned the weather season because I anticipate that this cleanser, on my skin, will be extremely beneficial during drier and cooler months of the year – when my skin needs an extra boost of protection from those elements (either outside or indoors). But during the warm and humid days of summer? This cleanser veered close to being too heavy for my skin.
The main caveat for that point is that it has been able to tackle removing layers of hard to remove products, and it’s done it quickly and consistently. I’ve liked using this cleanser with a manual device (either a wand, or a finger mitt), to gently exfoliate my skin while ensuring it wasn’t being stripped. Additionally, I’ve used it as a massage oil for my face when doing gua sha.
The cleanser, although it had a fragrance, was scented via the ingredients of the cleanser – and not with additional scents. So it had a lovely rose and herbal fragrance, that didn’t irritate my allergies.
The cleanser’s bottle dispersed the proper amount of product, and I haven’t experienced any issues with leakage (which unfortunately has happened with other oil cleansers I’ve used).
The package came with a handkerchief engraved with the cleanser’s name, which was a nice touch; I’ve used it as a cleansing cloth, and it’s been very gentle on my skin.

Agent Nateur holi (cleanse) cleansing face oil and makeup remover comes in a 4oz pump style bottle. According to the manufacturer, the key ingredients of this are dragon fruit extract, chamomile and aloe vera. I would add to that list olive oil and that is the number 1 ingredient listed. I will say this feels nice and not oily so the formulation seems to balance out the ingredients nicely. Use the cleanse in the AM to getting ready for the day and start with a clean canvas and then cleanse again in the evening to remove you make up and anything else you’ve picked up along the way. I find this enjoyable to use, perhaps even luxurious.

This cleansing oil feels extremely luxurious and makes my skin feel super soft after using it to remove my makeup at night. It does a great job of removing all the dirt and grime from my face as well as keeping it well moisturized. Usually cleansing oils leave my face all stripped and dry, but this one left my face shiny and moisturized which left me amazed.

I have found this pretty pleasant to use. The oil has an olive oil type cleansing texture meaning I think it is a bit looser than some of the other cleansing oils I have used in the past. The smell is very herbal, but it does wash off with water or with a second cleanse if you do like me and double cleanse. I found that my eye makeup and long wear lipstick did not fall off with this oil alone but it is still a pleasant cleansing face oil that does not dry out my already dry skin. Double cleansing with this does get rid of most of my makeup, so I will use that method for now.

As a person who has become obsessed with Korean skin care, I was very anxious to try this product.
This Agent Nateur – holi (cleanse) Natural Cleansing Face Oil, unfortunately, did not work for me. While I appreciate the nice product and packaging, I found this cleanser to be too greasy/oily for my skin.
Now, I am an older woman, in mu 60s, so much of my skin is very dry. but I do have an oily T-Zone, and I just don’t feel comfortable putting more oil onto my facial skin.
I did try this on my wrist, however. I did rinse it off with soap and water after a while, and my wrist felt soft and moisturized. This is just too much moisturization for my personal skin.
If you have very dry skin on your face, this would be great for you.

My face has gone from oily, to dry, to a combination of both. I have been looking for a cleanser that would not be too greasy, but also not dry out my skin. This seems to work very well.
I have been washing my face in the morning and evening with this product, and the nice thing is that i don’t need to use as much moisterizer, as my skin feels pretty good, even after a good cleansing.
My bottle has a subtle aroma, it does not linger. I also like that there is a good amount, the bottle is pretty big compared to other products that I have thought about using.

I have to admit that I am impressed by this cleanser. It feels super mild, offering some hydration and leaving my skin smoother, but at the same time, it does a very good job cleansing my skin. Now, to be fair, I don’t wear a lot of products and usually my skin has some very minimal makeup and of course the natural oils, but it does a very good job rebalancing it. It has a rather mild herbal smell that I find enjoyable, and a little on the relaxing side. I could see it using it as a facial massage oil as well.
