i think these are based on the fromm clips. the finish has visible imperfections but the offered colors are decent. got the morandi color set and it is ever so slightly reflective. not metallic, just plasticky shine. the light gray is paler than the fromm clip and the rose color is less pink and more muted (not as pretty of a pink as the picture). the lavender color is surprisingly my fave color of the 3.
found the spring to feel stronger and more secure, though i have been using the fromm clips for about 3 months straight. comes with extra grip bands i received 6 in my 12 pack so probably half the amount of clips you purchase.

I use these clips to hold back bangs for face washing.
But mostly I use these with my velcro rollers on hair wash days.
I detest most clips that pull, pinch or rip my hair in rollers …but these, especially since they are longer, slide in nicely.
Plus i love the fun colors – I bought a second set to securely hold the rollers – clipping them to one another instead of the hair so not to muss the styling.
