When I was visiting my grandsons, they wanted to go to the beach and I didn’t pack my sunscreen so they told me to try their moms Alastin skin care mineral sunscreen . wow !Not only did it protect my skin it made it feel better and I didn’t even have to wear foundation! So now I just put this on every morning and feel protected and my skin is glowing ! It’s a little pricey, but when you consider it a good sunscreen with a foundation because of the tint, it’s definitely worth it !

I bought this because Lisa J raves about it. I have very light skin and a family history of skin cancer. Needless to say I am very particular about what I use on my face. I called my dermatologist and she said definitely try it.
It goes on very smoothly and the coverage is decent for a tinted moisturizer/sunscreen. My only wish would be that the spf was 40 or higher. Other than that I think I have found my new favorite sunscreen.

This product works great as a sunscreen. I also liked it as a sheer skin tint. I have a light to medium skin tone and this product was a good match for my skin tone. It is pricey but I think the product will last a long time as there is a lot of product. What I didn’t like about the product (and why I might not be buying it again) is I found it to be too drying. As in after a couple of hours I feel it emphasizes the wrinkles around my eyes that I normally don’t notice when I’m wearing a more moisturizing product. I felt that it gave a slight glow when first applied but after it dries down I felt it was more matte. I have very dry skin. This product would probably work beautifully for someone with more normal to oily skin.

I’ve been on the hunt for a sunscreen + tinted base + moisturizer for a long time. I want something lighter that I can wear as a substitute for foundation. I’ve tried various primers and CC and BB creams. Everything was either too greasy, too dry, too gritty, too pore-clogging, broke me out, you name it. My friend recommended this and YAY!!! It’s very smooth, not at all greasy once it dries down after a minute or two, no white cast, not drying, light weight, and it doesn’t clog my pores. The tint and formula are just enough that it blurs my imperfections. A little translucent powder, blush, and mascara, and I’m put together with a minimal makeup look. Best part, only a small amount is needed so the tube will last me a while, which is good because this isn’t the cheapest product. The tube is a decent size too. I haven’t fully tested the sunscreen capability but I don’t intend to as if I’m out in the sun for any length of time, a more serious sunscreen is going on.
