This really did offer heat protection. I applied to dry hair before using my straightener and I could notice a difference in my hair. My hair straightened faster than usual and felt softer with a nice healthy shine. It had a pretty smell that wasn’t too strong and didn’t smell like perfume. Years ago I went to my wife’s hair salon to get a hair cut. The hairdresser used this product to enhance my hair. The result was outstanding. It kept my hair smooth and manageable. I’ve been using it since. What I love most is that my hair doesn’t feel greasy or oily. I don’t comb my hair. With this product I don’t need to comb my hair. I just use my hand to shape it.
