This Shampoo is thick and Concentrated, I diluted it with Distilled water and it still lathers up nice and thick.. Yeah you’ll smell like a Creasol impregnated Railroad Tie for a few hours, it’s Pine tar soap.
But it works.

While this does have an odor that reminds me of my grandfather, it does what it says. Just a caution that you might want to try to avoid getting this anywhere other than your scalp, to reduce sensitivity and a dried-out feeling.
Also, if you are looking at this in comparison to other discontinued brands, you found it.

First off, this is the best anti-dandruff shampoo I have tried. It works almost overnight! However, the smell might take a while for some to get used to. If I had to describe it, it smells like a cross between tires and crude oil. I find that it triggers my nostalgia for some reason.

My head was in a horrible state, lots of itching, flaking and sores. This came to the rescue in an instant. The smell is not the best, but I’ll take that as long as my head is getting “repaired”. Lathers nicely too. Was a quick fix and will use this in the future if I run into the same problem.
