i love this stuff. its a little expensive but worth it in my opinion. I used to use the regular crew brand pomade (brown label), and I liked that one just fine, but i think this one is a little better. the regular pomade dries to a glossy finish, which is fine, but everyone can tell youre wearing gel, like John Travolta in Grease. this one is a bit more subtle, it dries to a more matte finish, which i think looks much more natural and doesn’t look like you really styled it at all. hold is pretty mild, so you may want to look into other options if that’s what you need. i have wavy hair that just becomes a bit unwieldly once it grows out a bit, and this product is perfect for when that happens

This pomade smells like a pesticide or some other strong chemical. I used it thinking the smell would eventually dissipate but it was still there at the end of the day.

I usually order the light hold crème in the bottle. I tried this and am still working out the best amount for my hair. It’s a light hold and does make your hair look natural instead of the helmet glue and chrome shine of other products. I still think less is more.

I’ve been looking for a pomade cream for ages that is light in texture, isn’t sticky (able to run hands through hair) and strong enough to hold style. Gave up until I found this American Crewe (red). Yes its not the best smell, agree with one of the last reviewers that it smell like a lemon air freshener. But it not as bad as some of the dramatic reviews on here! Once I’ve got it on the smell goes after 2mins and so it really doesn’t bother me at all. If you’ve been trying different products at least give it a try. I’m glad I did!

It’s honestly probably the best light hold panda iv ever used and my hair feels completely natural and soft and it falls out of place you literally finger your hair back as if you had no product it’s not hard as a rock is my point. It’s really nice I would be fine with buying this product for a very long time

It looks really great on the hair (short, fine in my usage) looks natural and forms up well, does not appear greasy at all and holds all day even when sweating. The product has a rather neutral base note and a light, and pleasant scent. I will probably have a very soft, hydrated scalp if I keep using it as it feels like it’s very moisturizing, certainly leaves the hair soft. I first thought the small jar is overpriced for what it is, but given that is stays with you and only a very small amount is required, a single jar may last me a quite a while.

This was one of the few good pomades I found that worked nicely with fine hair, but the product I received is not the same AC formula I’ve used for years. This stuff smells like epoxy and has the tackiness of epoxy. It’s impossible to use without ripping out your hair…and definitely not something you want in your hair. Took multiple shampoo washes to get it out, too.
