My hair is (too) long, very thick, and very dry. It’s also dull. Just genetics, I guess. But Amika came through with this hair balm. The scent is light, it’s very effective on hair like mine, and not oily or greasy. Note, if your hair is thin and oily, do not use.
I can almost hear my dry hair soaking up the stuff. Nice shine too.

I have been using this product for a few weeks now and I find it to leave my hair very soft. I have tried to overnight before blow drying and also when I am wearing my hair naturally. I think it helps with untangling my hair also. Overall, great scent and leaves my hair looking healthier and soft.
For reference I have long, wavy thick hair.

I have shopped Amazon for years and never written a review, but I had to write a review for this product. It is the absolute best leave-in conditioner I have ever used. I have very curly hair and I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on products for my hair. This is the first product I have used that has truly hydrated my dry brittle curls, and it also helped my curl pattern improve. Which had become damaged from using straightening products/relaxers. I am in my forties and I feel like it’s been trial and error all these years with every other product and I have finally found something that truly works and leaves no greasy or weird residue. My hair looked and felt healthier after my first use. I am amazed and hope they never stop making this product.

Great when I first put it on, but doesn’t last but an hour for my hair before the wild frizzies come back. Can’t find anything that works. The product I used for years & worked hasn’t been available since COVID. And now I’m thinking it must be my hair.
This was expensive, to me. But desperation equals me continually trying products, but I increase the cost each time, thinking the higher cost would work. I’ve wasted so much money. This would probably work for most people, but not for me.
I haven’t dyed my hair in seven years. Perhaps it doesn’t work cause I have grey hair…For the normal hair people, I think you may like it. Not a 5 star, perhaps an “ almost a four”.

I’m obsessed with how this stuff smells. It’s amazing. I apply it when I get out of the shower and my hair is damp, and it helps cut down on frizz. A little goes a long way so it’s great value for the money. Super easy to use, and helps cut down on my tangles & dry hair.

I am a fan of amica products no matter what. I have never purchased this one product. And I will tell you it is on my forever list.
Is this provides so much moisture to your hair. I have extremely dry hair and I am fifty nine years old. I do have thick hair. And this product makes my hair look like. I have been to the hairdress or every day. It smells good, it is not an overpowering perfume spell, it is just a clean smell.
I just apply a little bit and run it all through my hair. And then finish all the ends I do mine twice a day.
My hair feels amazing it looks shiny in soft and I highly recommend this product.

You don’t need much of this but it’s definitely helped my hair recover from heat damage. Smells absolutely divine and isn’t greasy or heavy. Love it

This was a nice overnight hair serum but is very expensive for what you are getting. At this price point I would choose the Keraste overnight serum over this one. Not Your Mothers makes a great overnight serum that is super similar to this one at 1/4 of the price. Nothing wrong with the product, it is just expensive and I feel there are some better alternatives.

Amika has been a lifesaver for my hair!
My hair has become more brittle with age & color processing. When I started using Amika shampoo & conditioner, my hair tamed dramatically. The condition of my hair started to feel like it did twenty years ago!
This leave-in is an addition to my arsenal of Amika products! I love how much it improves the “slip,”detangling easier. My hair is so much softer & sillier & free of frizzy fly-aways.
I apply a quarter-size amount into my palm & rub together, then slather it from root to ends. The, brush through. Sometimes my hair needs more, so I give it more, depending on the “slip” factor. When there’s crazy hair sticking up? Slather!
My hair has actually grown so much since I started using Amika products! It just has the best ingredients that make my hair healthy & shiny! What more can you ask for?!
