I have been using this eye cream for about a year now with good results. I always look for clean products like this one. This one is definitely a keeper!

First and foremost: If you are looking for reviews on Amazon, pay attention to what product each person is reviewing. They jammed all the eye products in here, and they are wildly different products so that’s confusing as heck.

On to this actual product, the 1000 roses eye contour gel.

Does it work better than my usual Avalon Organics Vitamin C serum? So far, nope.
I used other products in their 1000 Roses line though and as a redhead with EXTREMELY sensitive skin, I was just thrilled to find a line of products that didn’t irritate my skin. (Their products that come in the purple packaging made me itch, burn, then break out, alas. But 1000 roses does not.)

The sheet skin mask was my first try. The SMELL! AMAZING. My skin was on the edge of burning but stopped at a nearly burning tingle. It really seemed to help so I decided to look further into the line.

So the eye contour gel. . . Doesn’t seem to do anything. It doesn’t really smell like anything either. It certainly doesn’t smell as indulgent as the sheet mask did.

Moisturizing? Nope. It adds liquid to your face but it has the viscosity of water and glycerin and that’s about how it dries as well. Once it dries in about one to three minutes, there is no moisturizing left.

So, is it helping the fine lines or dark circles? Not that I can tell. All I can tell you is that is has nearly not scent and doesn’t irritate my skin, but I could say that of water, so that’s a fairly low bar.

I’ll keep using the entire tube (it’s been a few weeks now) and if my impression changes I’ll update this review, but so far it’s not impressive, smells like nothing much, and the tube is the size of my pinky finger.

Perhaps it’s meant for younger women in their 20’s who went out drinking the night before, not 48 year old women who need far more moisture as periomenopause affects the collagen production.

    Unclear.

I can say it’s not irritating, though, so at least there’s that. I did expect more after the sheet mask was so incredibly nourishing. Bummer.

I’m actually shocked at how this has smoothed out my fine lines around my eyes in just over a wk of use. I read a few medical journals about how bakuchiol is a plant based retinol alternative that’s been proven effective in clinical studies so I thought why not try it! It has not disappointed. I do not notice any scent.
    Pros:
    -Effective!! smoothes fine lines
-Cost on amazon is cheaper than ulta and sephora
-Non irritative (i have very sensitive skin)
    -Plant based
    Cons:
    -Very small amount in jar
-product is not creamy. more of a “balm” consistency as stated so it takes a little longer to apply

  4. ‘Allo

Fresh and uplifting gel with tilted nozzle to glide on. Prefer roller ball delivery of same gel.

  5. Katrice

Definitely don’t feel like it moisturizes, which my eyes need, but it does feel soothing. I like putting it on clean lids before an eye moisturizer.

  6. Client d’Amazon

    Parfait pour moi

  7. 生田美和

for sensitive skin type and brightning up to

  8. Judith Brooks Sanchez

Awesome for under eye puffiness. No scent, not greasy.

  9. Carol

After using this product for a month, I am so happy with it. The skin around my eyes is very sensitive, and this works like a dream. My fine lines are less and my skin looks brighter. The price is amazing for this kind of quality.
I’ve finally found my permanent eye skin moisturizer!

  10. Lindsay Büchel

Works very well, I am so happy! A little goes a long way, and the results are immediate. Will definitely be purchasing again!

  11. Kir Reab

This eye balm/cream works better than my $75 pod of eye cream. Hydrating, brightens and I can already see a slight improvement of my fine lines around my eye. I have very sensitive skin and I have had no irritation whatsoever from this product. 10 out of 10!

  12. Lisa R

I qas looking for an anti aging eye cream that was not irritating and not super thick on my eyes. This eye cream fit the bill! It’s a nice gel formula and a little goes a long way. It’s non sticky, light and makes the skin around my eyes look less tired and not as puffy!

  13. Magalie Côté-Leduc

    efficace, je l’adore!
