This ‘Creamy’ cleanser is indeed very creamy… soooo rich. I have very, very sensitive skin and the majority of cleansers and soaps on the market cause my skin to breakout. I’ve been using triple milled soaps for years (lavender or peppermint) to cleanse my face as they don’t cause me to breakout but they aren’t very moisturizing… leaving my face clean but also dry. Applying moisturizers to my face to address the dryness is a no-no as they cause instant breakouts, so again my face is clean but dry.
I recently decided to try a turmeric and vitamin c clay mask to address the dryness and to diminish the appearance of pock marks in the hopes that the mask would not cause breakouts to my sensitive skin. In my search to find a cleanser enriched with vitamin c as an accompaniment to the mask, I came across the Andalou BRIGHTENING Meyer Lemon + C Creamy Cleanser. WOW, what a find!!
I’ve been using this cleanser for two weeks (I stopped using the triple milled soap on my face) and it is a game changer for me… I can actually say that I have a skin care routine! I use the cleanser twice a day (morning and night) and I definitely see/feel the difference on my face:
* The cleanser is creamy and rich
* You only need a small amount
* Leaves my skin soft and smooth
* I’ve noticed that dry patches are healing
* No irritation to my skin whatsoever
* Nice, subtle citrus scent
If you have very sensitive skin and you’re looking for a cleanser that won’t cause breakouts and also leaves your skin soft and smooth, you should try this.

This creamy cleanser smells terrific. I would describe the smell as citrusy honey like. It doesn’t lather up much but glides onto your skin to melt away makeup, dirt and oil. It leaves your face soft and clean. It has worked well on my combination skin. It is not oily or drying.

This face wash is okay, honestly a 3/5. Sure its creamy, but does not lather well on face, which makes it feel like you are just putting light lotion on your face rather than cleansing it.

This is one of my favourite products. Giving it 5 stars because it’s part of my routine and does what it’s supposed to do. I do have a fair warning however.
That being said, I have sensitive skin, and am chronically ill, and I find that I cannot keep up with daily use otherwise my skin will start to burn or be very stingy after long term daily use. So, just know your skin and listen to your body. 1-2 times a week is perfect for me.
It is stimulating, and it feels really good. Just use it responsibly depending on your skin. Personally I cannot use the vit c toner. But this product does all of that anyway and is less irritating for some reason.
