This is the best sunscreen I have ever used I love it! It really is kinda liquidy like “milk” so it pours out fast and is not really a cream definitely a milk. But it rubs in so smooth and doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. Even when I rub it directly in my eyes on accident lol it makes my skin feel so hydrated and plump without feeling greasy. I love this stuff and it is even perfect size for carry on luggage!

the japanese do not play when it comes to sunscreen.
some of the reviews said it leaves a more matte finish but i find that this is just a non-oily finish, and my skin still looks dewy with it on (my moisturizer is very good at making my skin dewy tho (its the naturie hatomugi gel)) I’d say its more of a satin finish. Once it dries down it doesn’t feel greasy or oily at all, my skin just feels hydrated and soft to the touch. The video i included is what my skin looks like after applying this at the end of my routine, with no makeup or beauty filter.
Very liquid formula, like a toner. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING IT.
It definitely works, has high spf and PA++++ (which means its very water proof, friction proof, and lasts at least 16 hrs- that means u don’t have to reapply throughout the day)
It prevents tanning, as asian sunscreen would, and is good for sensitive skin as its unscented. Also good for children/babies (the Anessa website says that this is good for all ages)
However, i would only buy this specific anessa sunscreen if:
A) u have sensitive skin (esp if it reacts to fragrance) or u hate the smell of perfumes skincare
B) u can’t stand the feeling of heaviness/oiliness that other sunscreens leave, or
C) it’ll be used for kids/babies
If none of these apply to u, the anessa sunscreen with the gold packaging will be much better. Personally, as someone who has tried both this one and the gold version of this, im going to buy the gold one when i run out of this one. It does have fragrance in it, and the finish is a tiny bit oilier (it’s not bad though), but it works better.
i watched a video testing different japanese sunscreens and the anessa gold came out on top, better than the pink anessa.
overall, this sunscreen is a yes from me!

Japanese sunscreen formulation is top tier, I’ve been using this particular spf for a couple years now, it’s meant for babies and sensitive skin. My skin gets red pretty easily and is acne prone, therefore this sunscreen formulation is good for not irritating my skin.
The texture is pretty silky and smooth, make sure to use two fingers worth of sunscreen enough to cover your face. The sunscreen at first leaves a little white cast at first, therefore it’s best to use it while you have a couple of minutes for it to settle on your skin before going out.

今年は太陽ギラギラの猛暑なので大汗かきまくり。
顔に塗るとエアコンが効いた室内だとやたらと皮膚が乾燥する感じがどうも合わない感じ。
普通のビオレなどのオイルが入っていないモノヘシフトしました。
腕だけ使用して使い切る予定。

This sunscreen is very water/sweat resistant. It does have a white cast because I believe it contains zinc oxide. Unfortunately causes my eyes to become red/irritated. In my opinion it is not matte finish.
I do trust anessa for days when the sun is very strong. Works well under makeup. I have to keep it away from my eye area. If it does accidentally get into my eyes it doesn’t burn terribly, but it does cause me a lot of redness. I have seen others say it is matte, but it has never looked that way on me even without any other skincare underneath.
