Original review: I only used this a couple of times before the lotion started separating. Now when I try to apply it I get this goop that is part water and part lotion. So I had to throw it away. Very disappointed.

I cannot see the expiration on the tube and not comfortable using the product until I know if the product is not past expiration date. I changed my opinon as they accomodated me by sending 2 additional tubes with clearly marked expiration dates at no additional cost.

Apologies if this is obvious, but this is sunscreen, not moisturizer. I was looking for “moisturizer with spf” as an alternative to a Neutrogena product I’ve previously used. The title on this listing indicates “Moisturizer with Sunscreen”, but it’s “Sunscreen with Moisturizer”.
I wouldn’t even describe it as good sunscreen. It does the old-school sunscreen thing of going on white and taking significant rub-in to clear up. I have a short beard, and it was just a gross mess.
I’ll use this up as normal body sunscreen, but it’s not a good moisturizer.

Given the strong reviews and price, my expectations were pretty high. in short, this lotion fell well short. I could not wait to finish the bottle. Two key issues:
1) The bottle tends to leak even when stored horizontal in a drawer. Not in a gushing out and spilling in the drawer but in the sense that the product leaks into the inside of the cap is the gooey mess gets everywhere during use.
2) The lotion separated in temperature controlled storage — each use included some “pure oil” coming out followed by lotion.
I am still searching for a replacement for the wonderful face lotion/SPF I used for 20+ years that removed from market by Neutrogena

I have been using Anthony’s for years. I use it every morning and apply to face to head ( bald head). It is a prefect thickness and not greasy at all and with some UV protection it provides me some sun block for my afternoon run .
