This is my new favourite face cream. It’s super hydrating and yet somehow also very lightweight. It’s not greasy at all, nor does it feel like it’s just sitting on top of my skin, being smeared around. It sinks in and moisturizes like you’d want a face cream to do.
I have very, very sensitive and reactive skin, as well as a little bit of rosacea on my cheeks.
Since using this face cream, as well as this brand of oil cleanser and cleansing foam, my rosacea has actually decreased significantly to where I can’t hardly see any redness (and I’d been trying to treat it for a few years). I am also no longer getting breakouts caused by irritation from product ingredients or just from using moisturizers that are too heavy/greasy for my skin.
I struggle with dry skin in the winter, that would often get flaky around my forehead, and my rosacea would flare on my cheeks. Since I switched, that is no longer happening (!!).
I use a different brand for toner and serum. And I also use clean skin club’s disposable bamboo facial towels. With all of the above, I have the best skin I’ve had in years and I’m super happy with it. I’m in my late 30’s and taking care of my skin has become more important to me as it’s gotten a bit less forgiving with the neglect of my earlier years.
It’s nice to have found a brand that really works for me and my very picky skin!
(Except their toner, I tried it and it was too harsh and stung, so I gave it to a friend).

It’s definitely a nice, thick moisturizer but it absorbs into the skin quickly. It made my skin feel soft but it honestly wasn’t hydrating enough for my skin type. A couple of minutes after I applied it, it felt like I really didn’t put anything on my skin lol and it made my skin look dull. I’ve had success with other Anua products, so this one just may not be the best option for my oily-combo skin.

Let me just preface this by saying that I have had an extremely long and complex skincare journey. I have combination (mostly oily) skin, but also very seasonally dry. I suffered for a long time with consistent breakouts and blemishes, redness, large pores, and cakey makeup. I have tried just about everything there was to help, including dietary changes, vitamins, and every skincare product I’d ever heard of. For the past year I have been used La Roche Posay products, which seemed to be helping quite a bit, but not enough to the point where I felt confident leaving the house without makeup. So I took a chance in the new year and tried the Anua pore oil, which was an absolute game changer. My pores shrunk, my oiliness decreased by half, and my acne cleared up completely in less than a week. I was so happy I decided to try another Anua product, which was this lotion, and let me just say I have never felt so confident in my own skin since. This lotion is not greasy, absorbs quickly, is nice and thick for the changing seasons, and feels like silky butter on the skin. Best of all, for the sensitive skin people, it does not cause any breakouts! This is my absolute new favorite moisturizer!! Highly recommend!!

I needed a good cream to use at night after applying tret. Here are the things I like about this cream:
– fast absorbing
– pleasant smell (but fragrance-free)
– makes skin feel super soft!
– did not make me breakout (I have acne prone skin)
– perfect moisture! (tret dries out my skin that’s naturally combo)
Just wish it wasn’t almost 30 bucks, so I’m docking one star because there may be creams that do a similar job for less. It’s not a miracle product but pretty good.
