I don’t go to the pool or beach without this. Apply it to your hair (wet or dry) before entering water, brush through. I re apply throughout the day and as your hair dries, it doesn’t feel dry and brittle from chlorine- It’s soft and shiny. Easily shampoos out when you get home and keeps your hair looking and feeling healthy.

I used a little bottle and then bought the huge bottle. Yes, it works well, but I do have the feeling that coconut oil might be just as good, or even a cheap hair conditioner. I’ll need to test out my theory. We’ll come back and write more afterward. Definitely helps your hair when you swim. Afterward, it rinses out well and leaves your hair soft. It even returned some wave and curl to mine. So fun to use, just not sure of the price point okay.

This product keeps my black permed hair from drying out. It detangles, soften, a keeps my hair manageable with heat. While the scent is not bad I could do without it.

This is a great product. I’ve used it for years. I opted to buy this size based on the picture. There bottle looks SO MUCH LARGER. It’s false advertising. It’s much thinner and much smaller. Not sure how big the savings was to buy this bottle versus the smaller tubes I usually get. Fix your picture to match what you are advertising! Shame on you.

Since the Alepo unisex swim cap was of poor quality I’ve been forced to swim without a cap and have to rely on this product while swimming under the got Florida sun daily in chloribe water. The product days, “AquaGuard’s protective formula enhances natural and dyed hair of all types.”. My hair has not been enhanced and I don’t know if it is protected. I also use the Wellness swimmers shampoo and conditioner set with this and my hair has turned a little orange and my fine straight hair is not healthy or shiny but dry and stringy.

During the summer both my daughter and myself nearly live in the pool. Anyone with blonde or chemically treated hair knows the damage chlorine can cause. Our hair becomes dried and brittle and even develops a green tinge. Before jumping in the pool, we wet our hair with cold water, squeezing out excess water, and place Aqua Guard Pre Swim throughout our hair. We wait at least five minutes before entering the pool. After exiting the pool, we rinse our hair thoroughly. Neither myself nor daughter have had to worry about damaged hair this summer. Our hair has remained soft, shiny, and healthy all summer long!!!

I didn’t have high hopes for this one, but it was actually very good. It coats the hair kind of like a hair mask (not unexpected) and actually left my hair feeling really nice after I washed it out. I have thin, color treated hair so chlorinated water usually messes it up a lot.
