Just got it and it only turned on sometimes and when it was on it would randomly shut off. There’s also a lot of gap between the eyes so the heat was more on the outside of my eyes..
I could have cinched the middle to make it fit better but the thing doesn’t even work. Return ing sadly.

Weaving the tapestry –
I have bought microwave heat eye masks before, and they worked, but didn’t keep a steady heat. I would have to reheat it a time or two during the wearing. Then I bought one of these, but a different brand. It was less expensive, but didn’t heat properly or evenly, then after about 3 weeks it quit working all together. Then I bought this one, and it is perfect. It heats evenly, keeps the heat, is comfortable and soft, and has a timer on it. I have had it for a couple of months now, and it is still working perfectly! Recommend!!

Upgraded my original 1 star review to 4 stars.
Was contacted by customer service who relayed their 12 month warranty and offered a replacement or a full refund.
The replacement arrived a couple of days later and has been working great so far. If it continues to work like it’s supposed to, I’d upgrade my rating to 5 stars. So convenient, high enough heat setting, comfortable, and seems to be working very well for my MGD.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Augenmaske von AromaSeason. Ist angenehm zu tragen, drückt nicht, Passform gut einstellbar, deckt die ganze Augenregion gut ab, heizt wirklich gut auf (im Gegensatz zu einem anderen Gerät eines anderen Herstellers, welches ich probierte), Timer funktioniert wunderbar.
Schwachstelle des Produkts ist, wie schon andere Rezensenten berichteten, das Kabel bzw. das Modul mit den Schaltern: nach einem halben Jahr regelmäßiger Anwendung, gab die Maske ihren Dienst auf und war nicht mehr einzuschalten. Habe daraufhin den Kundenservice kontaktiert, welcher sich entschuldigte, sagte, dass ihnen das Problem bekannt sei und in der neuen künfitgen Produktionsreihe ausgebessert wird. Ich bekam sogleich ein Ersatzgerät zugesendet, welches laut ihrer Angabe noch die mangelhafte Variante sei, ich jedoch feststellte, dass das Kabel schon etwas dicker war im Vergleich mit meiner ersten Maske.
Für mich die beste Maske bei Augenbeschwerden wie Blepharitis, Gerstenkorn und Co. und kann sie daher weiterempfehlen.

Be tried quite a few masks over the years, and this one is by far the best at doing its job for helping my dry eye.
I wear this 20 minutes at night before falling asleep and I actually don’t get any redness or itching throughout the day anymore. Compared to other masks I’ve used, this one just does a way better job of heating your actual eye area.
Pros:
1. Rests on your eyes rather than your forehead/cheekbones – this is super important. I did need to adjust the strap to almost the maximum to get it to not put to much pressure on my eyes, I just wanted it to lay on top, and it’s now perfect.
2. Easy buttons to adjust the time/heat. Starts default on max heat/20 mins timer which is perfect for me. 1 click to turn on and it’s set. Don’t even need to look.
3. It’s small and easy to hide away during the day.
4. You can flip it upside down to have the wire come out the left or ride side, super nice.
Cons:
1. Color – why not have a black option? The color options are not my style but not a deal breaker.
2. Wire – wire gets tangled easily, wish I could upgrade to a nicer braided cable.
3. Washing – must be hand washed. Wish the internals were removable from the outer cover so you could just have multiple covers and wash them. This should be a basic design requirement for a product like this.
Overall this is still by far the best mask I’ve used for my dry eye, but man I wish someone would just improve on this design and make it higher quality. I’d pay for a high quality mask with this design that lays on your eyes with removable outer shells that can be bought separately to be machine washed.

This Aroma Season mask is prefect! I love it. I love everything about it! Comfortable on eyeballs, time and temp settings are adjustable, easy and perfect. Heats up my entire eye area. My nose works very well and I have not experienced any bad smells like I saw in another review. Plus the price is super reasonable! I purchased another brand over a year ago my eye doctor recommended for $100 and have maybe used it 10 times at most in over a year. It is actually a little painful to use. If I get it snug enuf to feel any heat it hurts the middle of my eyeballs. It seems to have a rope type shape so doesn’t lay on my eyes without me trying to force it flatter with my fingers before use. I went back to the microwave masks instead until I tried the Aroma Season mask. Now that is all I use. I hate everything about the $100 mask except the velvet cover. The velvet cover is awesome but has nothing to do with why I need a heated eyemask.

I have 2 eye issues. I had been suffering with eye erosion at night for a couple years after an injury in my right eye. I saw a doctor periodically for it and the last time was a few months ago when I pointed out my new issue which was chalazions in my left eye. The doctor said to do warm compresses which I had already tried on and off for a couple weeks before talking to him. I found it too much of a hassle and I am too busy to keep running to the microwave and hold a warm pack to my face that many times for that long during the day. I gave up and thought it would be gone in a few more months. I was wrong, they were still there and as big as ever, the whole bottom lid area was swollen. That is when I came across this mask and it solved my previous issues.
First, it plugs in and stays the right temperature the whole time. No more running to the microwave. It heats up quickly. (I prefer the high setting). It is shaped and stuffed so it actually presses on your eye lid and not the area around your eyes. It is comfortable and has a timer so you can turn it on and drift off to sleep. I have a baby that often gets me up a few times a night so I get to have multiple treatments a night (although I only wet the first one). You can move the stuffing around in the mask so you can make sure you are really compressing you’re trouble spots. I like how the mask plugs into the wire so it is easy to connect/disconnect to go wet it. It does block out light for sleeping purposes.
In one week, it has made a huge difference in the swelling of my lid and has shrunk the chalazions themselves. As an added bonus, it also seems to have helped my eye erosion in the other eye although I still put in over night ointment as it still feels dry by morning if I do not.
