I love it! It has a lot of universal uses. I use it as a layer between moisturizers. I love that it plays nicely with other products and doesn’t pill. It doesn’t irritate or dry out my skin, is lightweight, sinks into the skin quickly, and has a nice texture. Obviously straight aloe isn’t going to cure your wrinkles or fix your acne but it’s a very simple, soothing layer to add to my routine.

So…I had a gripe with this purchase at first…I order often from Amazon and this particular order was a big one, it was included in multiple packages, over a two week time span. I was receiving my packages mostly from UPS and USPS to my door. I became concerned when I hadn’t received my package, even though Amazon order tracking stated it was delivered. I was worried it was delivered to the wrong house and I would never get this item. I was furious and contacted the company, who told me the package was, in fact, delivered and there was nothing further they could do. Well, here’s the kicker, I was expecting the package to be dropped at my door. When I checked my mailbox, (which is a bit of a walk to get to, so I don’t check it daily), there it was. I felt like such an idiot!!! It had arrived in a postal box small enough to fit in my mailbox. Hahaha! So for anyone making a large purchase and concerned with whether or not your items were all received, check your personal mailbox. 🙂
Anyway, onto my review, I originally discovered this product through the EWG’s skin deep site. I use this site a lot to insure I am purchasing the least chemical laden and pure products for myself and my family. This product, in particular, received a rating of zero, meaning that it contains little to no harmful chemicals. It is organic, and contains 95% pure aloe vera. The other ingredients are few and all received no more than a rating of 1 on the site.

It is a Korean product, but still lists the ingredients in English, so you know what you’re getting. It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it after you witness the benefits of the product…
I use this as a moisturizer for my skin, I have combination skin depending on the weather and day. It balances the moisture in my skin incredibly well and I haven’t had a break out since using it!!!! Amazing!!! My skin is smoother and healthier looking and isn’t dried out or oily in the least!!! I LOVE THIS ALOE!!!!
I’ve also used it on my daughters diaper rash. She is 18 months old and has a limited vocabulary, of course. She hates anything near her bottom when she has the diaper rash, but when I applied this to it, she exclaimed “ohh, uh huh!!” and smiled and laughed. It didn’t burn and seemed to immediately soothe her sore skin. She didn’t squirm or cry and within the hour of applying this and letting her run amuck to allow it to dry a bit, the diaper rash was almost non existent!!!!
I will absolutely be purchasing this product again, it’s wonderful!!! I will also be recommending it to others I know and hope my review helps any avid review reader like myself. Enjoy your beautiful skin! 🙂

I have pretty sensitive skin and I’ve been irritated or ‘burned’ by aloe gels in the past which claimed to be mostly natural and were not. This one was different, it was very soothing on my skin and does not have any sort of perfume to it which I dislike immensely in some other brands of aloe. I even use this on my face on occasion and my skin has been left calmed and smooth. As a side note, I used it as an aftersun after I got sunburn on my arms and found it was very cooling and helped provide relief. Would recommend.

The bottle is tiny. So it’s very expensive considering. Also, you are gona have to adjust the lack of gel like adhesion. It’s slick.
I used this as a substitute when my own experiment getting aloe from the plant directly (not efficient at all…little yield) was not in the correct ratio with the vitamin C and E I added as preservative. It was worthwhile to have this handy bottle to add to my product.
Also, I did some reading and FDA did their own experiment sometime in the 90’s where they wanted to see if aloe vera had UV light resistance (If it helped a burn, was it a sunblock?) and they tested on hairless rats and found that although it treated burns, it CAUSED worse burns under UV light if applied before the radiation light (with no prior burns). Why do you care? Well, don’t put this s*** on and sit out in the sun. None of these aloe bottles say that on there but I did notice a CVS brand aloe vera use to have “approved for daily use” on the bottle until about a year or two ago. So I am guessing someone out there either brought up the study I referenced and CVS did a little CYA (“Oh s*** someone could sue us for using it because it causes worse sun burns) or that actually happened and people settle out of court and sign non-disclosure agreements and a simple phrase is mysteriously erased from a label.
Don’t get confused here. It is good to use AFTER a burn. It is only bad to use BEFORE you get the burn. If you think about photosynthesis, maybe that might make a little sense.
Also, if you don’t like smoking because it causes cancer, the study I read concluded that UV light was a worse carcinogen than smoking. Wear the spf and apply the aloe after a burn and rock on.
