I am really impressed with Aromatica’s line of products. This is not an overpriced brand making big claims but not backing it up. The ingredients list proves it. And so does the results. It’s a big deal for me to use a product until the bottle is empty, but it’s an even bigger deal for me to then buy it again cuz I like it so much, which is exactly what I did with all the Aromatica products I’ve tried so far. Not only did I repurchase it, I also bought the deep cypress line, the tea tree line, the rosemary scalp scrub, the tea tree tonic and the rosemary tonic. Every single one is a winner. But this is a review for the Rosemary shampoo and conditioner so I will stick to that for this review.

It smells very strongly of a deep woodsy pine & rosemary scent.. it’s very stringent and I’m sure some people will dislike it but I actually enjoy it, however I’m a sucker for anything that smells strongly of mint, rosemary, pine etc. It’s not an artificial rosemary scent either. I have a huge collection of really expensive essential oils. I know what good pine and Rosemary smells like, and this is it. You can tell they are sourcing high grade ingredients for this product. I get some people will dislike this scent but it’s one of the things that draws me to this product. I really like it. However I will say, I learned a long time ago on my quest for the best, highest grade self care products and essential oils, that products that are clean, natural and actually work are usually going to smell very… earthy.. because they are not scented with artificial fragrances and because they are made with ingredients that actually work.

The lather is immaculate, as all the wave guru’s on YouTube would say 🤣 lol someone needs to show them this brand of shampoo if they wanna step up their lather game. A little bit actually does go a long way, which says a lot coming from me because I have pretty thick hair and find myself having to use extra shampoo to ensure I get a good lather behind my ears and at the back of my head, but I can use half the amount of this than I normally would with any other shampoo and it’s enough. It lathers up extremely well and is very luxurious. After I ran out of this shampoo and conditioner, I repurchased it along with aromatica’s Tea Tree shampoo as well, & surprisingly the tea tree shampoo lathered up even better than the rosemary for some reason. I was actually really shocked when I used their Tea Tree shampoo for the first time yesterday. I’ve been loving the Rosemary one so much for the last month or so and get such a luxurious lather from it.. I didn’t expect the Tea Tree one to lather up even better.

As for the conditioner, it works really well too. I struggle to find conditioners that I like. I was using the Aluram brand of shampoo & conditioner after my stylist used it on me in the salon. I fell in love with it because it’s ingredients list is clean and it worked well. However I felt like my hair would feel frizzy and sometimes it felt dry and straw-like at the ends.. So I started using more conditioner which would make my hair look greasy and weighed down. I haven’t had those problems since I switched to this. With the conditioner, a little bit truly goes a long way. You do not need a lot at all. I had to learn this the hard way because I was used to having to use a ton of the Aluram conditioner. So I was using too much of this Rosemary conditioner at first. I had to break that habit of using too much. Even though I was using too much, it never made my hair greasy or weighed down. It just caused me to run out a lot faster than I should have. Now that I’ve been using it awhile, I’ve figured out how to use it so it works best for me. It really only takes a little bit. After I rinse the shampoo out, I try to ring the excess water out of my hair, I apply a small amount of the conditioner to my hands and rub it thru. Then I try my hair back and let it sit for anywhere between 1-5 minutes while I wash my body or shave. If I feel like I need more conditioner than usual, I’ve found that instead of using more, I get great results by adding a small amount of water to my hair after applying the conditioner. Just a tiny amount. Not enough to rinse the conditioner away. And then I let that sit before rinsing it out.

Before I started using Aromatica’s products, I was using leave-in products religiously after every wash. I’ve been using leave-ins my entire life. I’ve tried them all. All the drug store ones, and a lot of the luxury brands. Pacifica, chi, biosilk, it’s a 10, etc etc. I’ve been using Verb Ghost Oil for the last year which I really like. I am no longer using any leave-in products since switching to Aromatica. The only product I use that could be considered a leave-in is Aromatica’s scalp tonics. I’m using both the Tea Tree tonic and the Rosemary tonic. After I wash my hair, I towel it a bit to absorb excess water and I spray the tonic on my scalp. I spray it at the hair line at both temples, at the hair line behind both ears, at the hair line along the back of my neck, and I spray it all along my part, my cowlick, and make sure my entire scalp gets sprayed. Let me tell you, the tonic will change your life. It feels especially tingly and refreshing when you use after you just washed cuz your scalp is clean and your pores are open, but it feels amazing any time. After I spray, I brush my wet hair and style as usual, which for me is usually just allowing my hair to air dry before throwing it up in a bun. I also use the tonic throughout the day on dry hair to refresh my scalp and stimulate hair growth. It feels amazing and is a great midday pick me up.

My hair is so bouncy and clean. You know when your hair is super clean at the scalp..? it’s a different kind of clean and a better bounce when your scalp is cleansed to perfection. That’s how my hair is with these products. It feels so healthy and soft and the shine is out of this world. It’s never greasy or dull anymore.

Like I said, before is started using these products, I was using the Aluram line with Verb ghost oil. I liked it at first but found that my hair would feel very dry at the ends, frizzy, and would get greasy looking at the root. Aromatica solved those problems. I don’t struggle with that anymore, which I didn’t think would be possible for me especially without using a leave-in product.

I work in a gross, hot warehouse. It’s a physically demanding job. I sweat a lot at work, and I tend to sweat directly from my scalp sometimes. Before I started using these products I would struggle with feeling like my scalp wasn’t getting clean enough despite really scrubbing and scratching my scalp while shampooing and deep cleaning. I even resorted to clarifying shampoos which didn’t give me the clean feeling I was seeking. I even tried using Dr. Bronners peppermint Castile soap to wash my hair in order to deep cleanse my scalp. Dr. Bronners peppermint Castile is a must have item for me.. I’ve been using it for many years and couldn’t live without it, however when used on my scalp, it was too stripping and drying and made my hair tangle up.. so I would use even more comditioner or deep conditioning treatment which would make my hair feel heavy and look greasy at the scalp while looking even dryer and frizzier at the ends than usual. I couldn’t win. I don’t worry about any of that anymore.

There is one thing I don’t like though which I took a picture of for my review. There is a little sticker tab holding the spout of the shampoo & conditioner closed. I assumed that was a quality control thing, like to show its unopened. But when you screw the cap off, there is no seal. The bottles are all unsealed. I really dislike that. Anyone could tamper with the product. I thought MAYBE it could be a fluke, but I’ve since reordered the Rosemary line, as well as the Tea tree line and the deep cypress line and they ALL came unsealed the same way. I really dislike that. They need to go the extra mile and seal their products.

Ich finde es sehr leicht und angenehm, macht die Haare nicht schwer, aber gepflegt und ohne Frizz. Feuchtigkeit haltet schon länger als bei den anderen Spülungen.

I have used Aromatica rosemary shampoo and root enhancer with great results, so I was excited to try the conditioner. I don’t know if I got a bottle from a bad batch or what, but this conditioner was awful. It was so thick that it felt like glue. It did not smell pleasant and I had to use a lot to cover my hair. It did not soften my hair at all, in fact, it made my hair feel like there was something sticky in it even though I rinsed for five minutes or more. When I ran my comb through my just washed hair, clumps of it came out! I wish I could return the bottle and get my money back, but the return window has closed. I don’t recommend this product at all and will never purchase it again!

Eccezionale! I componenti sono naturali e il prodotto è performante

Used the shampoo once, just now, almost a quarter sized amount…. The lather was amazing. At this amount, the smell was nice, not stringent.my hair was fluffy and soft, in the water?!? I used the same amount of conditioner. My hair didn’t need more. My hair is shoulder length. My hair also feels like it won’t need any other products (unless I order something else from this line, because it’s so amazing).

Preface, I have colored and virgen wavy chest length hair.

I originally bought the shampoo and conditioner pair back in April and I have only used half of the product. I really don’t need much to clean and condition my hair. A little really goes a long way for me. With my hair texture I don’t wash my hair everyday, more like every other day. The colored parts of my hair have benefited greatly by the products as well, being smoothed out rather than splitting.

It hasn’t effected my hair growth much, but definitely makes my hair feel thicker and I had seen a significant difference from making a change from Dove products.

Texture, the shampoo and conditioner were really smooth upon opening. I did get really good lather from the shampoo with a dime size amount.

It is a bit pricey but I managed to prolong its life for months rather than buying monthly of another brand. So it has been a good investment on my end.

Packaging, I’ve only struggled with the caps of the bottles themselves when storing them. If not closed properly a lot of product will be lost easily, so head my warning to anyone reading.

I really do like this product and see myself purchasing it again!

  9. Briana

I have used this product twice and my hair seems fuller and silky but most important 90% less hair in my hairbrush. Definitely will continue to use it.

Omg, I love this product! In UK we have a very hard water and I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect care for my hair and I found it! Rosemary oil feels refreshing on the scalp and I have clean hair for much longer time now!

My hair is better than before .
    I will repeat my purchase.

I have been using this conditioner 1-2 times a week for several months. The smells is pleasant, if not a little medicinal from the rosemary. It does have a true rosemary smell, which makes me believe the claim that they are using rosemary essential oil. It is a moderately thick conditioner, and a little bit goes a long way. I cannot say for certain that my hair is getting thicker, but it does seem shinier and stronger than it did prior to using this product. I find that it doesn’t rinse out quite as easily as other conditioners, but I find that preferable as I think leaving a little in makes it easier to comb my naturally tangly hair once I am out of the shower. Overall, a good find that I will likely continue to use or repurchase in the future.
