This is a wonderful cleansing conditioner to use for dry scalp, eczema and dry hair. I’ve been using it on both myself and my 2 year old because his scalp flakes from the eczema, no matter how much I try to keep it hydrated. Thankfully after a week of using this every night (I was our hair every night) the dryness on my sons scalp has cleared up and my own hair stopped falling out in clumps (normal shampoo makes my hair fall out). Our hair is super soft and not weighed down at all, plus I shampoo both our hair once every 2 weeks with a regular shampoo and use this as the conditioner. The scent is not heavy, you can hardly tell there is even a scent to it. This does not lather, it is more like a thin conditioner. Thankfully this one doesn’t ‘tingle’ like Hair One does (the tingle is actually cold in winter). My hair is naturally curly, so this really helps to bring out the curls in my hair. I have thin hair but lots of it, so it appears thick.
No build up, no greasy feeling and both my son & I always have that “day after” look to our hair which is great IMO. A jar will last both myself and my son a whole month. I can’t get this locally so Amazon is my go to.
I’d recommend. It does take a while for your hair to get used to the moisture in a conditioning cleanser vs a shampoo/conditioner that strips then conditions. My hair was oily for a couple weeks when I first started co washing and now it is starting to balance out and not oily at all, instead my hair is soft, shiny and curly.

My hair has been a source of frustration all my life. I thought it was just frizzy, sort of curly, and a nuisance. I got this product with low expectation, just expecting another flop really. But not only did this stuff give me full curls I didnt even know were there (should have with the family photos lol,) but it has made my hair soft, manageable and easy to detangle. Plus it smells amazing. All i do is scrunch and air dry. I now look forward to washing my hair. Please keep making this product and please keep the price as I will continue to buy for as long as it’s available as is and i’m sure many others will as well.

This cowash is great stuff. Shampoos and conditions at the same time. Smells wonderful too. It doesn’t take much. I flipped when my 12 yr old granddaughter almost used all of it in a week! Her hair is long and curly. I can tell you she had no frizz!!! Thank goodness I bought 2! I haven’t had to open the other one yet. Just apply a little to your scrap, wet it to run down your hair rinse out after you have showered

I’ve been co-washing for almost 5 years and will not go back to shampooing! My hair feels so soft and is healthier since converting to co-washing. I’ve tried other products but some of them are thicker and weigh down my fine hair. I cleanse my hair with this co-wash 3x per week and it works well for me. I agree with other users, I wish this was available in a container that resembles a shampoo bottle. I inadvertently add water from my hands while in the shower. Over time this tends to make this product a little thinner but it still works well and is still usable.

The smell is amazing! I one of those annoying people who can’t handle scents especially perfumes. However the wash has a light scent clean scent that doesn’t linger. It feels fantastic in my hair, is really easy to use & completely stink free 🙂
I’m a caucasian chick with long thick Czech curls I can never tame. For years I’ve searched for some magic shampoo, conditioner, or gel to help me form my curls without frizz head. So far no luck, but the cowash has given me reason to hope. Granted it’s not a magic potion to fix all my issues. I still have issues with detangling my hair, but it’s easier than with other products. My hair doesn’t feel stripped raw, but it is clean and feels great. The longer you leave the product on the better is seems to work. So after I washed it out I put a dime size amount in my palm and then run it through my hair as a leave in product. After one use I’ve noticed less frizz & better formed curls. Keeping my fingers crossed that I’ve finally found the product to finally tame the mess on my head.

This stuff is amazing! i have fine, thin hair, and im trying to ditch regular shampoo because i realized its making my scalp produce way too much oil. This stuff actually cleaned my semi greasy hair and left the rest of my hair SO soft and shiny, with its 2B natural wave, some volume and no frizz. I didnt even use conditioner cuz i wanted to see the power of this stuff…. i am shocked. HOWEVER: Pleeeeeeaaase put this in a pump style dispenser, or like a normal shampoo bottle though, the container is hard to manage in the shower. I plan on using this stuff forever so for now ill just put it in an extra pump dispenser i have lying around.

This stuff is amazing. For reference, I’m white with fine 2b/2c hair but a lot of it. I’ve tried all of the expensive conditioning washes, i.e. Hairstory, Unwash, curlsmith and too many others to name that cost a lot more than this one and yet this one works so much better for me than the others.
I had absolutely zero expectations for this because I assumed it would leave my hair oily and/or weighted down since my hair is fine and I get oily roots after three days without washing and this was obviously made for African American hair types which are usually super curly and therefore prone to dryness. I’m amazed at how it always leaves my hair, I used it several times before leaving a review, just to be sure I wasn’t having a lucky good hair day, it’s definitely this stuff.
A lot of regular shampoos leave my hair feeling thin, dry or needing to wash it more frequently as it would get oily faster, I was sad to learn the same was the case with expensive cowashes. Somehow this stuff makes my hair feel thicker and I can go longer between washes. ? I’m amazed at this stuff.
I don’t even use a conditioner with it (which is crazy to me since my ends have damage from bleach but I wanted to see what this did so I didn’t use a conditioner the first time and haven’t needed it (I use this then use a little olaplex as a leave in plus another moisturizing leave-in) For me, personally, this stuff is worlds better than any other cowash I’ve tried.
