I have used this product for YEARS! And my mom has used it for many years before me. The shine and texture it gives your hair is unmatched. And it does not give you greasy hair. I still steer clear of using it near my roots but the product is wonderful for my ends. I will use this until I die!

PRODUCT FOR YEARS…It is lightweight and spread easily once you emulsify it between your hands. The scent is still a favorite. It keep my hair looking good and in place. I will say though, AVEDA, the formula has changed over the years. It was once a hard formula that you needed to scrape with the back of your thumb to get out and now it is on the more of a dip your finger in… does the trick but different formula.

It was melted when I got it. Utterly useless. Expensive uselessness, that is.
I hate to leave a bad review, but I was so excited to get this product after not being able to find it for a long time. When I opened the bottle, it poured out. You’re supposed to use this as a semi-solid pomade almost. This was liquid.

I have low porosity 3ABC hair. I use this product after I do a silk press for extra protection from humidity. I noticed that I need more than a dab (emulsified ofc) on my ends. I tested one side of my hair with more product and other a little less. It really works and it didn’t weigh my hair down at all. I reapplied it to the side that got a little frizzy and braided it and it was just as new. Don’t be put off that it isn’t super solid, it’s a little of both, as long as you warm it up with your hands really well it will apply to your hair like butter. And water is not the second ingredient so your hair will not revert. Great for edges too.

I have been using this product for years and can’t live without it! It smells great, takes my flyaways, adds shine , and adds moisture to my dry thick hair. I use the smallest amount on my dry hair after straightening or while I’m straightening and it always helps. It’s a great quality product and seems expensive but it lasts forever! Love this hair product.
