As a Aveda hairdresser, the aroma of this product is not consistent with any of the other Aveda products. That said, my hair is soft and smooth. It also has a cool, icy aspect that has not ( in the past) been present. Like everything else on line, careful what you buy and who you buy it from. All in all, its ok, just NOT the aroma Im used to,
