This is a very fine powder, but magically starts to liquefy. But, not to the extent that it leaves your hair wet. It just melts into your hair, and roots. I do find that the texture obviously stays in your hair and feels somewhat gritty. Obviously it does texturize your hair. I have dark brown hair, and very fine here. And it appears to do the job. I’m not sure about the price though. It is a very small bottle of .7 ounces. It does texturize your hair. This stuff is amazing…. I have straight hair, not much of a wave, like hardly, lol! after i blow dry my hair, curl it, whatever your styling tecnique is, & put a little in my hand, heat from hands melts it like a soft frosting in your hand, a tad stick, but, THEE BEST RESULTS! I BEEN using this since like 1992, & it never fails me! I use little by little as needed, & rub it through my hair, & style accordingly, makes it feel as if it wasn’t washed for a few days, but, that is the secret of this stuff, your hair is clean, but, this stuff makes it amazingly easy to style, fluff out with hands, or whichever you prefer! After blow drying I use it, as a finishing touch to set my style …enjoy!!!!

I’ve used this product for years because it’s the only product that I’ve found that actually delivers body to fine hair. The only down side is that it’s so expensive for such a small amount of product.

This leaves a white cast on my brown hair. When I was younger with more hair I could have brushed it out, but with my thin hair now, I can’t.

Have been using this stuff for years. Not every day – but when I need to look more ‘put together’. My hair is very thin and it gives some volume on top without being too sticky or making it look like you used a lot of product.
