Although on the pricier end, this is quality shampoo. I tried it at a bougie hotel and fell in love!

Aveda is a bit expensive, but it has proven to be gentle on my scalp and hair, and the smell does not trigger my respiratory problems. Be careful not to let it run over your eyes when shampooing or rinsing, as the mint can be an irritant. I have found it takes two applications to achieve the same degree of cleanliness as I got with one application of my former shampoo, thus making it doubly expensive.
